Cloud and Flesh

World Mission Society Church of God believes in Christ Ahnsahnghong who is God the Father came to the earth in flesh.

In this age, only God the Father Christ Ahnsahnghong and God the Mother(Heavenly Mother) can give us salvation.

Through the prophecy of the Bible, lets confirm that Christ Ahnsahnghong, who came as the Savior in the age of the Holy Spirit, is truly the Second Coming Christ.

The Bible prophesies that Jesus will come on a cloud, for a second time, in order to restore the lost truth and to lead the children of God into the kingdom of heaven. When Jesus came two thousand years ago, He fulfilled the prophecy of the book of Daniel by "coming with the clouds of heaven" (Dan. 7:13-14). Actually, Jesus came as a man, in the flesh. Jesus is prophesied to come a second time on the clouds of heaven, meaning that He will come as a man, in the flesh, again.

Ahnsahnghong, the Second Coming Christ, has come in the flesh, fulfilling the prophecies of the Bible. When Jesus ascended into heaven, the angels asked the people, "Why do you stand here looking at the sky?" The members of the Church of God are not looking up into the sky, and are not waiting for the second coming of Jesus. We have already received the Second Coming Christ, Ahnsahnghong, who has come in the flesh according to the prophecies of the Bible. The Church eagerly preaches to the people who are still looking up at the clouds of the sky, informing them that their Savior, Christ, has already come.

We truly wish that all of the readers will open their hearts, will study the words of truth, and will receive the Second Coming Christ, Ahnsahnghong, who guides us to salvation.

Lk. 21:27~28"At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near."

The Son of Man Will Come in a Cloud

At first, we need to carefully study Jesus first coming, because He was also prophesied to come in a cloud. If this prophecy meant that He would come in a physical cloud of the sky, the people who do not believe will fall into destruction. But if this prophecy meant that He would come in the flesh-and not on an actual cloud-then those who insist on His coming on a physical cloud of the sky will be destroyed.

When Jesus came for the first time, 2,000 years ago, the Pharisees were aware that Elijah would come before the Messiah (Mt. 17:10~13; cf. Mt. 11:14). Elijah had gone up to heaven in a whirlwind, riding a chariot of fire (2 Ki. 2:11), so the priests, the teachers of the law and the Pharisees, all believed that the Elijah to come would also come down from heaven in a chariot of fire-the same way that he had gone up to heaven. Because of their incorrect beliefs, they failed to receive Elijah-John the Baptist? and persecuted him; thus, they were all destroyed. While they eagerly looked forward to Elijahs coming in a chariot of fire, Elijah-John-had already been born, as a child, through the body of Elizabeth (Lk. 1:57~66).

All of the evildoers who had waited for Elijahs coming in a chariot of fire were destroyed. This is Gods warning to us. In the last days, the people who believe that Jesus will come in a physical cloud of the sky will be destroyed.

We should be careful not to follow the Pharisees example, and make every effort to study the prophecies of Jesus coming in a cloud. The Bible says, "When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near," and, "He will send his angels...and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other."

Most Christians assume that when Jesus comes in a cloud, as the Judge, the earth will be destroyed and the "saved" will be caught in the air to meet Jesus. The Bible says, however, that "when these things begin to take place [when the Son of Man comes in a cloud], stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near." The Bible also says that when Jesus comes in a cloud He will gather His elect from the four winds.

In other words, the purpose of Jesus coming in a cloud for a second time is not to destroy the earth, but to gather the elect. In order to be recognized as the elect, we must receive the Second Coming Christ who comes in a cloud.

"Cloud" Means "Flesh"

We need to know the correct interpretation of the "cloud." If the prophecy refers to a cloud of the sky, where would Jesus stay until He came in a cloud? A cloud is visible water vapor, floating above the earth. It accumulates in the air and comes down as rain or snow; this is the cycle of a cloud. Then, where would Jesus stay until He came in a cloud? Lets find out the symbolic meaning of the cloud, through the Bible.

Heb. 12:1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses...

Jude 1:12 These men are blemishes at your love feasts, eating with you without the slightest qualm-shepherds who feed only themselves. They are clouds without rain, blown along by the wind ...

In the above expressions-"a great cloud of witnesses," and, "clouds without rain, blown along by the wind"-the clouds represent people, wearing the flesh. Since the Bible calls false prophets "clouds without rain," whom do "clouds with rain" represent? Those "with rain" are the true prophets, aren’t they?

The water within the clouds represents the water of life.

Zec. 14:8On that day living water will flow out from Jerusalem, half to the eastern sea and half to the western sea...

Jn. 7:37~39On the last and greatest day of the Feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, "If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him." By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive.

And the Apostle Peter said:

2 Pe. 2:17These men are springs without water and mists driven by a storm.

“Springs without water" and "mists driven by a storm" indicate false Christians. As you know, "mists" are "clouds without rain" (Jude 1:12). The waters that have not been vaporized represent all human beings, everyone in the flesh.

Rev. 17:15The waters you saw, where the prostitute sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations and languages.

Since the waters represent "peoples," whom do the clouds stand for? Clouds are suspended in the air, visible collections of water particles that have been vaporized by solar heat. Thus, clouds represent the people who have been born again through the Holy Spirit. Jesus coming in a cloud means His coming in the flesh.

Jesus, Who Came With the Clouds

In a vision, the prophet Daniel saw the Son of Man coming with the clouds, and he prophesied:

Da. 7:13~14 In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence. He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all peoples, nations and men of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed.

Jesus did not come on the visible clouds of heaven. Instead, He was born as a baby through the body of Mary. Some argue that the above prophecy is concerning Jesus second coming. Daniels prophecy is speaking of Jesus first coming, undoubtedly, because the prophecy states, "He was given authority, glory and sovereign power [a kingdom, KJV]; all peoples, nations and men of every language worshiped him." Matthew and Luke disclosed that, in His first coming, Jesus had been given all authority, in heaven and on earth, as well as a kingdom.

Mt. 28:18 Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me."

Lk. 22:29 "And I confer on you a kingdom, just as my Father conferred one on me,"

The Bible prophesied that Jesus first coming would be with the clouds, and yet He came in the flesh. Therefore, the prophecy of His second coming, in a cloud, also reveals that He will secretly come in the flesh, doesn’t it? There is an undeniable prophecy: "I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away" (Mt. 24:34~35).

Then, how long will "this generation" be? Almost two thousand years have passed since Jesus spoke these words. Has the generation not yet passed? In regard to one generation, the Bible says:

Ps. 90:10The length of our days is seventy years-or eighty, if we have the strength...

Therefore "this generation" can only be interpreted as the time period within which the Son of Man comes in a cloud for the second time and gathers His elect from all sides.

The Last Judgment Will Be When Jesus Comes With Fire

When Jesus comes as the Last Judge, He is to come with fire, not on a cloud. The prophet Isaiah testified that on the last day Jesus would come with fire. As it is written:

Isa. 66:15~16See, the LORD is coming with fire, and his chariots are like a whirlwind; he will bring down his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire. For with fire and with his sword the LORD will execute judgment upon all men and many will be those slain by the LORD.

2 Th. 1:7~8This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels. He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.

Heb. 12:29...for our "God is a consuming fire."

Mt. 24:30They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory.

Lk. 17:22..."The time is coming when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, but you will not see it."

In other words, we will be able to see Jesus when He comes in a cloud, but we will not see Jesus when He comes with fire. Jesus also said that He wouldn’t find faith on the earth when He came on a cloud for the second time.

Lk. 18:8"However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?"

If there is no one who has faith at the time Jesus comes, who can be saved? The Bible says:

Mt. 24:31"And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other."

In accordance with the prophecies of Jesus coming in a cloud, again, to gather His elect from the four winds, Jesus has come for a second time and is presently gathering His elect from the four winds. The one who has fulfilled all of these prophecies is Christ Ahnsahnghong.

We truly hope that you will be able to recognize the Second Coming Christ, Ahnsahnghong, through studying the prophecies of the Bible so that you may receive salvation.

Abraham's family and Heavenly Mother

God(Christ Ahnsahnghong) said that there is our God the Mother(Heavenly Mother) in heaven.

Lets find out about Heavenly Jerusalem Mother(God the Mother) through the Bible in World Mission Society Church of God.

The character Abraham is used to represent God in the Bible. Through the history of Abraham's family, God has revealed to us how we can inherit the kingdom of heaven.

Isaac was the one who received Abraham's inheritance. Even though Abraham had another son named Ishmael, born through Hagar, God did not allow Ishmael to receive the inheritance of Abraham. Rather, God bestowed the inheritance upon Isaac, who was born through Sarah. The reason why Isaac was chosen as Abraham's heir was that Isaac was the son of Sarah, who was free. This history shows us that the heavenly inheritance will be given to those who are born of the heavenly Mother, who is free.

Christ Ahnsahnghong taught us that our heavenly Mother does in fact exist and that she is truly the biggest mystery hidden within the Bible.

Let us study "The History of Abraham's Family and Heavenly Mother," taught to us by Christ Ahnsahnghong.

Abraham Represents God

First of all, we need to recognize who the character Abraham represents in the Bible.

Lk. 16:19~31"... The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham's side. The rich man also died and was buried. In hell, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. So he called to him, 'Father Abraham ...' "

As you know, this parable is about a beggar, named Lazarus, and a rich man. The parable tells of Lazarus, who died and was carried to heaven, and a rich man, who was sent to hell to be tormented. Lazarus was obviously carried to God's side after he had died; however, the Bible states that Lazarus traveled to Abraham's side. In the parable, the rich man, who went to hell, called up to God in the distance; however, the Bible states that the man saw Abraham, and called up to him, saying, "Father Abraham." Who is the only one who is worthy to be called "Father" in the spiritual world? God is the only one who can be called upon in this way. Then, whom does Abraham represent? Logically, the character Abraham was chosen to represent God.

Therefore, the inheritance of Abraham can be likened to the inheritance of God, the kingdom of heaven.

Isaac, the Heir of Abraham

Then, let us find out who was appointed as Abrahams heir. There were three candidates who could have been chosen as the heir of Abraham: Eliezer, Ishmael, and Isaac.

Among them, who became Abrahams heir? It was Isaac who was appointed. We need to understand the reason why Isaac was chosen to be Abrahams heir.

Ge. 15:1~4... But Abram said, "O Sovereign LORD, what can you give me since I remain childless and the one who will inherit my estate is Eliezer of Damascus?" And Abram said, "You have given me no children; so a servant in my household will be my heir." Then the word of the LORD came to him: "This man will not be your heir, but a son coming from your own body will be your heir."

When Abraham was an old man and had not yet borne a son, he asked God to allow his servant Eliezer to be his heir. However, God did not allow Eliezer to become Abrahams heir, revealing that a son would be born from Abrahams own body and that he would become his heir.

Sometime later, Hagar, Sarahs maidservant, bore Abraham a son: Ishmael.

Ge. 16:1~15Now Sarai, Abram's wife, had borne him no children. But she had an Egyptian maidservant named Hagar; so she said to Abram, "The LORD has kept me from having children. Go, sleep with my maidservant; perhaps I can build a family through her." Abram agreed to what Sarai said ... So Hagar bore Abram a son, and Abram gave the name Ishmael to the son she had borne.

Ishmael was born to Abraham through a maidservant named Hagar, and Abraham asked God to allow Ishmael to become his heir.

Ge. 17:18~19And Abraham said to God, "If only Ishmael might live under your blessing!" Then God said, "Yes, but your wife Sarah will bear you a son, and you will call him Isaac. I will establish my covenant with him as an everlasting covenant for his descendants after him.

When Abraham said to God, "If only Ishmael might live under your blessing," God did not allow Ishmael to become his heir. Instead, God promised Abraham that he would have a son through his wife, Sarah. Isaac was born as God had promised, and among Eliezer, Ishmael, and Isaac, Isaac was chosen to be Abrahams heir.

The Key Factor in Deciding an Heir Is "Mother"

Lets study the reason why God chose Isaac to be Abrahams heir. Both Eliezers father and his mother were slaves, neither of them was free. This is the reason why God did not allow him to be Abrahams heir. Ishmaels father, Abraham, was free, but his mother, Hagar, was a slave and not a free woman. This is why God could not allow Ishmael to become Abrahams heir. Isaacs father, Abraham, was a free man, and his mother, Sarah, was a free woman. The fact that Isaac had been born of a free woman was the big difference between Ishmael and Isaac, and this discrepancy became the key factor in choosing Abrahams heir.

In those days, the eldest son inherited all of his familys property. Since Ishmael was older than Isaac, he should have become the heir if God had made His decision according to the paternal line. Ishmael was not chosen to become Abrahams heir, even though he was Abrahams eldest son, because his mother was not a free woman, but a slave. Thus, it is clear that the decisive factor in choosing Abrahams heir was his mother.

What we need to focus on while studying the history of Abrahams family is not merely the story of a man and his family. As you know, the Bible is not a storybook to tell us of men and their families. Nevertheless, God repeatedly mentioned the story of this particular family. Actually, the history of Abraham was a shadow of what was to happen in the future. In order for us to know who could become Gods heir, the story of Abrahams family was written, as a prophecy.

Therefore, through the history of Abrahams family, we can clearly understand that the decisive factor in choosing an heir is the mother. As Isaac became Abrahams heir through Sarah, his free mother, we can become Gods heirs through our heavenly Mother, who is a free woman. Only those who believe in the heavenly Mother and only the children who are born through the new covenant can inherit the heavenly Fathers kingdom.

Let us read one more verse testifying about the heavenly Mother.

Gal. 4:22~31... But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother...Now you, brothers, like Isaac, are children of promise. At that time the son born in the ordinary way persecuted the son born by the power of the Spirit. It is the same now. But what does the Scripture say? "Get rid of the slave woman and her son, for the slave woman's son will never share in the inheritance with the free woman's son." Therefore, brothers, we are not children of the slave woman, but of the free woman.

The Bible declares that we are not children of the slave woman, but of the free woman. Ishmael could not inherit his fathers estate because his mother, Hagar, was only a slave, not a free woman. On the other hand, Isaac was chosen to become Abrahams heir because his mother, Sarah, was a free woman. The Bible also testifies that we, like Isaac, are the children of promise, the children of the heavenly Mother, who is free.

In todays world, there are three types of people: those who are like Eliezer, those like Ishmael, and those who are like Isaac. The first type of people, who are like Eliezer, are atheists, who do not believe in Father God or in Mother God. The second type of people, who are like Ishmael, are those who believe in Father God, but do not believe in Mother God. The third type of people, who are like Isaac, are those who believe in Mother God as well as Father God. According to the history of Abrahams family, which one of these three types can become an heir of the kingdom of heaven? Only the third type of people, who are like Isaac, can be recognized as Gods heirs. There is no doubt about it.

Which group of people do you want to be classified with? If you want to be like Isaac, you must first become a child of the free woman. Thus, you must accept the heavenly Mother, who is free. The Bible testifies to this fact.

God said, "My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge" (Hos. 4:6). What kind of knowledge is God referring to in this verse? We must recognize that we have a God the Mother, as well as a God the Father. We must accept Elohim God. Also, we must firmly believe that God is our Mother, who gives us salvation alongside our Father. Only after we come to realize this can we say that we have the knowledge of God, and that we will not be those who are destroyed from a "lack of knowledge."

The Bible testifies that the Holy Spirit is God Ahnsahnghong, and that the Bride is Jerusalem Mother. Let us accept God Ahnsahnghong, the Holy Spirit, and Jerusalem Mother, the Bride, who give us the water of life in these last days, so that we can enter the kingdom of heaven.

Heavenly Mother(God the Mother)

World Mission Society Church of God believes in Heavenly Mother.
World Mission Society Church of God only follows the teachings of the Bible and believes in the Second Coming Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother.
Only Heavenly Mother can lead us to the kingdom of heaven.

World Mission Society Church of God only follows the teachings of the Bible and believes in the Second Coming Christ Ahnsahnghong and Jerusalem Mother.

In the Bible, God is referred to through plural terms instead of singular terms, and it is written that God has a male image and a female image. Therefore, God exists in the male image and in the female image.

Have you ever thought about why we call God our Father?

It is written that God's invisible qualities have been clearly seen and can be understood through what has been made (Rom. 1:20). Is there any creature that is given life through only their father, alone, without a mother being present?

We need to study this matter carefully.

God’s Two Images

Let us study through the Bible to discover the existence of our spiritual Mother.

Ge. 1:26~27Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness... So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

The above verse states that God has two images? a male image and a female image. Until now, we have only known and called upon the male image of God: Father. Then how should we call upon the female image of God? Logically, we should refer to Gods female image as Mother. This is why God had said, Let us make man in our image, in our likeness.

The word us is a plural term. Elohim, the Hebrew word used in place of God in Genesis 1:26, directly translates to Gods, the plural form of the word God.

Therefore, the references to us in the book of Genesis refer to God the Father and God the Mother.

Some say that the word us in this verse indicates God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. If this argument is correct, there should be three types of people in the world? those who were made in the image of God the Father, those who resemble the image of God the Son, and those created in the image of the Holy Spirit. However, on this earth there are only two types of people: men and women.

So the Gods mentioned in Genesis 1:26 are God the Father(the male image of God) and God the Mother(the female image of God).

Baptism

The Bible tells us to be baptized immediately and receive the forgiveness of sins. World Mission Society Church of God follows this.

Man is mortal. Why cant we live forever? The Bible explains that we die because of our sin(Ro 6:23 For the wages of sin is death).

Baptism is the first step toward God and through this we can get the forgiveness of sins.

Ac. 2: 38Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit"

If we want to get eternal life, first we should be baptized. God gave us the new life through baptism (Ro. 6:3~11). It’s a law not to wash the dirt of our body, but to wash the sin of our soul so that we may revive anew. Then when should we be baptized? The Bible tells us to be baptized immediately because we dont know what a day may bring forth(Pr. 27:1).

The eunuch of the Ethiopian queen was baptized immediately on the road, after he realized Jesus(Ac. 8:27) ).

And a woman named Lydia was baptized immediately when apostle Paul preached to her(Ac. 16:13).

Like this, the ancestors of our faith were baptized immediately as soon as they realized the Savior regardless of time and place.

Through Baptism, God has promised the forgiveness of sins and we are born again as a new life. So lets be baptized immediately and be forgiven and be saved.

The Last Plagues and the Passover

In this age, only God the Father Christ Ahnsahnghong and God the Mother (Heavenly Mother) can give us salvation.

Only World Mission Society Church of God keeps the Passover with the bread and wine like the Last Supper.

It is only through the Passover that we can be saved from God's last plagues.

Mt. 24:37~39As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.

1Th. 5:1~3Now, brothers, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, "Peace and safety," destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.

The most urgent thing now is for us to listen to the news of salvation.

Let's study the verses in the Bible that show us how we can escape the last disaster.

The earth will surely meet its doomsday, either by a world war or by God's mighty power.

There are many prophecies in the Bible concerning the end of the age.

Whoever absolutely believes and follows the prophecies will be saved.

If anyone does not believe the message of salvation, he cannot obtain eternal life, even though he may try to seek salvation by his own means (such as making an underground shelter, going to another planet by rocket, fleeing to a peaceful country, or hiding himself within an atomic submarine under a North Pole iceberg).

These are merely temporary methods to hide from danger.

In regard to this, some prophets prophesied as follows:

Zep. 1:18 Neither their silver nor their gold will be able to save them on the day of the LORD's wrath. ...

Am. 9:2~4"Though they dig down to the depths of the grave, from there my hand will take them. Though they climb up to the heavens, from there I will bring them down. Though they hide themselves on the top of Carmel, there I will hunt them down and seize them. Though they hide from me at the bottom of the sea, there I will command the serpent to bite them. Though they are driven into exile by their enemies, there I will command the sword to slay them. I will fix my eyes upon them for evil and not for good."

Now, the time has come to study and to follow the way of salvation, according to God's guidance, displayed in the prophecies of the Bible, instead of seeking man's ways.

In order to give salvation to those who believe in the prophecies, God has allowed the history of ancient times as a shadow, revealing what will happen in the end of the age.

Ex. 12:12~14 "On that same night I will pass through Egypt and strike down every firstbornboth men and animalsand I will bring judgment on all the gods of Egypt. I am the LORD. The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are; and when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt. This is a day you are to commemorate; for the generations to come you shall celebrate it as a festival to the LORDa lasting ordinance."

In Hebrews 11:28, it is written, "By faith he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of blood, so that the destroyer of the firstborn would not touch the firstborn of Israel." This means that no destructive plague was brought upon the houses where the blood of the Passover lamb had been sprinkled, because it became a sign.

God's last plagues will be brought upon this sinful world.

At that moment, who on earth can escape?

Can't the people who have the blood of Jesus, who have celebrated the Passover, escape? The power of the Passover will be revealed when the last plagues are brought upon the earth.

Those who have not celebrated the Passover will regret it, and they will face God's wrath and punishment.

Jesus and His Apostles Kept the Sabbath

Jesus and his apostles kept the Sabbath of the New Testament.

Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother restored the Sabbath of the New Testament disappeared in 321 A.D.

World Mission Society Church of God celebrates the Sabbath of the New Testament.

The Old Testament is a shadow and a copy of the New Testament.

Heb. 10:1The law is only a shadow of the good things that are coming - not the realities themselves.』

Thus, the law of the Old Testament was a shadow of the good things that were to come in the New Testament times

The Sabbath day in the Old Testament was called "the Sabbath of Jehovah" (Ex. 31:13; Eze. 20:12), while the Sabbath day in the New Testament was called "the Sabbath of Jesus" (Mt. 12:8; Lk. 6:5).

The Sabbath day, according to the Old Testament law, was only a copy.

The Sabbath day of the new covenant, kept in Christ, is the reality.

In the New Testament times, the apostles kept the Sabbath day by worshiping God in spirit and in truth, following Jesus Christ's example.

Jesus kept the Sabbath as His custom.

Lk. 4:16He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom ...

In the New Testament times, the Sabbath day is referred to as "Jesus' [the Lord's] day" because the true Lord of the Sabbath is Jesus Christ.

Mt. 12:8For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath

The apostles kept the Sabbath day as the "Lord's [Jesus'] day.

Rev. 1:10On the Lord's Day I was in the Spirit...

As the times of the Old Testament passed away and the New Testament times began, the way in which God's people keep the Sabbath was changed.

However, the day of the Sabbath was never changed.

The day itself could not be changed because it was on the seventh day that God had rested from all of His creating work.

The apostles kept the Sabbath day as their custom, reasoning from the Scriptures as follows:

Ac. 17:2As his custom was, Paul went into the synagogue, and on three Sabbath days he reasoned with them from the Scriptures ...

Ac. 18:4Every Sabbath he(Paul) reasoned in the synagogue, trying to persuade Jews and Greeks.

As it is written in the above verses, the apostles kept the Sabbath day.

It is proven throughout the Scriptures that the Sabbath day —the seventh day, Saturday, Jesus' day— was kept until the apostolic age.

So why do so many present-day Christians hold services on Sunday [the first day] and not on the Sabbath day?

According to history, Sunday service originated from pagan sun-god worship.

The Romans had been worshiping the sun god on the first day [Sunday], recognizing it as "the day of the sun."

But Now, Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother restored the Sabbath of the New Testament disappeared in 321 A.D.

We have to keep the Sabbath day as Jesus and his apostles kept to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

And we should conduct ourselves bearing in mind our duty as God's people.
