ChristAhnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother came to the earth and restored the feasts of the New Covenant so World Mission Society Church of God keeps the feasts of the New Covenant.

Only World Mission Society Church of God keeps the Sabbath of the New Covenant and the Passover of the New Covenant.

To slander World Mission Society Church of God, some people insist that we do not need to keep the special days like the Passover and the Sabbath, quoting Gal. 4:10.

Gal 4:10~11 『You are observing special days and months and seasons and years! I fear for you, that somehow I have wasted my efforts on you.』

But their insistence is not true.

If their insistence is right, why they keep some day like Sunday worship, Christmas and Thanksgiving Day?

Their insistence is contradictory to their behavior.

In Gal 4:10~11, the special days, months, seasons and years which Apostle Paul said mean the feasts of Old Covenant.

Therefore, we do not need keep the feasts of Old Covenant in the Age of New testament.

Change of the Sabbath

The Sabbath is a blessed day when we are made holy. The souls who become holy through the Sabbath come to yearn for God all the more and proceed further towards heaven. So, in order to hinder God's children from attaining salvation, Satan put Sunday, the day to worship the sun god, right beside the Sabbath day. The truth of the Sabbath began to be obscured from the 2nd century after the Apostolic Age, and in 321 A.D. it was officially abolished as the Roman emperor declared Sunday as a day of rest. Thus, the law of worship on Sunday started in Rome, and it has continued until this day. Satan hinders the truth, which God has given human beings for their salvation, using all kinds of lies and lawlessness.

Da. 7:24~25 『" ‘The ten horns are ten kings who will come from this kingdom. After them another king will arise, different from the earlier ones; he will subdue three kings. He will speak against the Most High and oppress his saints and try to change the set times and the laws. The saints will be handed over to him for a time, times and half a time.' "』

The distorted truth comes from Satan the devil who opposes God. The truth of the Sabbath was distorted and changed by Satan who tried to change the set times and the laws, and it disappeared from the world for over a thousand years. As a result, God's law has been changed and lawlessness is now prevailing throughout the world.

However, Heavenly Father and Mother have restored the truth of the Sabbath again to clothe us, Their children, with holiness. It is because we can enter the kingdom of God only when we are clothed with holiness. Even now Satan is hindering and slandering the true Church that keeps the Sabbath, by every means possible. His ultimate goal is to make one more soul fall down, but it is God's will to save all souls, without losing even a single soul.

Gal. 1:6~10 『I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel-which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned! As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let him be eternally condemned! Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ.』

The Bible says that if anyone preaches a different gospel, he will be cursed, and it also tells us to do what pleases God rather than men. Satan always says cunning and sweet words, but whatever is not a teaching of Christ cannot lead us to salvation. So we must not follow the teachings of Satan who tries to change God's set times and laws.

The laws we can live by and the laws we cannot live by

Satan tries to abolish the Sabbath by changing the set times and the laws and spreading a different gospel. However, the Bible shows God's firm will for the Sabbath.

Eze. 20:10~12 『"Therefore I led them out of Egypt and brought them into the desert. I gave them my decrees and made known to them my laws, for the man who obeys them will live by them. Also I gave them my Sabbaths as a sign between us, so they would know that I the LORD made them holy."』

God gave His people the Sabbath as a law which man could live by if he obeyed it, and as a sign between Him and His people, so they would know that He made them holy. On the Sabbath, God pours out spiritual blessings from heaven upon His children, and cleanses them from all the impurities of this world. That's why God tells us to keep the Sabbath. God has prepared a way of life before us-the Sabbath-to make us holy, to bless us and to lead us to eternal peace and rest.

Then, what happens to those who do not keep the Sabbath?

Eze. 22:26 『"Her priests do violence to my law and profane my holy things; they do not distinguish between the holy and the common; they teach that there is no difference between the unclean and the clean; and they shut their eyes to the keeping of my Sabbaths, so that I am profaned among them."』

Who are the people violating God's law? They are those who worship on Sunday, not on the Sabbath. Today many people are doing unholy things to profane God instead of giving glory to God, not distinguishing between the holy and the common. Being bound to the chain of lawlessness, they fail to come to the blessings of the Sabbath, so they can see nothing-neither God the Father, nor God the Mother, nor the kingdom of heaven, nor salvation, nor eternal life.

Since Satan knew this all too well, he changed the set times and the laws. Then he tried to rationalize Sunday observance, saying that the Sabbath in the Old Testament was Saturday but it was changed to Sunday because Jesus was resurrected on Sunday and the pouring out of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost also occurred on Sunday. However, the Day of Resurrection and the Pentecost, which are the annual feasts, and the weekly Sabbath have their own distinctive meaning and blessings, so they must be observed separately from one another. Any law that has been changed from God's is not the truth of God, no matter how plausible Satan's excuse for it is.

Let's see what path God let the people, who neglected the Sabbath and profaned Him, follow.

Eze. 20:20~25 『" ‘Keep my Sabbaths holy, that they may be a sign between us. Then you will know that I am the LORD your God. ‘But the children rebelled against me: They did not follow my decrees, they were not careful to keep my laws-although the man who obeys them will live by them-and they desecrated my Sabbaths. . . . because they had not obeyed my laws but had rejected my decrees and desecrated my Sabbaths, and their eyes lusted after their fathers' idols. I also gave them over to statutes that were not good and laws they could not live by . . .' "』

God gave the people, who turned away from the Sabbath and did not keep it, over to laws they could not live by. That is why there are numerous people today like the sand of the sea who keep Sunday while claiming to believe in God.

In the book of Ezekiel, let's take a look at another prophecy about those who do not keep the Sabbath.

Eze. 8:16-18『He then brought me into the inner court of the house of the LORD, and there at the entrance to the temple, between the portico and the altar, were about twenty-five men. With their backs toward the temple of the LORD and their faces toward the east, they were bowing down to the sun in the east. He said to me, "Have you seen this, son of man? Is it a trivial matter for the house of Judah to do the detestable things they are doing here? . . . Therefore I will deal with them in anger; I will not look on them with pity or spare them. Although they shout in my ears, I will not listen to them."』

Here we can see the scene where some people were bowing down to the sun with their backs toward the temple of God. What is this prophecy about? Sunday and Christmas are the days to celebrate the sun god, which come from sun worship. Today there are numerous churches on the earth which have the doctrines of the sun god worship. However, the day to worship God is the Sabbath.

God has appointed the Sabbath to be a day when His people are clothed with holiness. The Sabbath is also a day when we receive blessings from heaven. So, let us not neglect the Sabbath but keep it, longing for the spiritual blessings Father and Mother give us on the Sabbath, so we can receive all the blessings by asking for them to our hearts' contents.

Feel the blessings of the Sabbath and give thanks to God

Do you know that we are in a car running at 100,000 km (60,000 miles) per hour every day? Normally cars drive along the highway at 100 km (60 miles) per hour, and the average speed of a plane is 800-1,000 km (500-600 miles) per hour. However, we are living on the earth which moves around the sun at a speed of 100,000 km (60,000 miles) per hour. The earth moves at such a high speed, but nevertheless we cannot feel the tremendous speed at all, and do not regard it as a miracle.

God shows us such a miracle every day. It is the same with the blessings God gives us every Sabbath day. God bestows boundless blessings on us as He has promised us, but we cannot feel the blessings fully.

Let's think about manna which God rained down upon the Israelites every day in the desert. At first it tasted like wafers made with honey, but as they ate it for 40 years, it became miserable food for them. The Sabbath must not be like that. We should always give thanks to God for making us holy and giving us spiritual blessings from heaven and eternal rest through the Sabbath, instead of taking the grace of God for granted and accepting it absent-mindedly.

Now let us examine ourselves: As we are in a car traveling at 100,000 kilometers (60,000 miles) per hour, do we feel the speed while living on the earth? Or does it feel like we are in a car traveling slowly at less than 1 km per hour? When we sense this blessing, we will eagerly wait for the precious blessings God bestows on us every Sabbath day with excitement and anticipation, and if we have such faith, we will surely receive so much blessing.

For God the Father, God the Mother, and Their children, the Sabbath is a blessed and joyful day and it is also a holy day when the members of the heavenly family gather together. The providence of Heavenly Father and Mother is being fulfilled through the Sabbath even at this moment. Every Sabbath day, Elohim cleanse us from our sins and iniquities and raise us up to become Their worthy children, so that we can enter the kingdom of heaven without fail.

Giving thanks to Heavenly Father and Mother for giving us the precious Sabbath, let us all participate in the heavenly salvation by always obeying the will of God, cherishing in our hearts the happiness and joy of living in the blessings of the Sabbath. In addition, let us invite many people around us, who do not yet know the importance of the Sabbath or the will of God, to come to keep the Sabbath, which Elohim have personally established and written, so that they can also receive salvation and enter eternal rest in heaven God has prepared for us.

If we look around us, there are truly precious things. However, as we always come in contact with those things, we often forget their importance and neglect them. It is the same with the Sabbath among the many truths which God has taught us.

When God created all things in the beginning, He worked for six days and rested from all His work on the seventh day, and He especially made the seventh day holy. 3,500 years ago, when God declared the law, He personally wrote the words, "Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy," on the stone tablets of the Ten Commandments. It is not too much to say that the Sabbath is closely related to salvation and it is an absolutely essential part of our salvation.

Nevertheless, many people today do not keep the Sabbath, neither knowing the will of God nor understanding the way of salvation God provides. This is the age of prophecy when God's judgment is near and the kingdom of heaven is also close at hand, just as Jesus said, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near." Thinking of the kingdom of God, let's take some time to carefully study the Biblical teachings about the Sabbath.

It is only when we obey God's word that we can enter the kingdom of heaven

We should obey and preach everything God has taught us-from the smallest things to the greatest. It is because every word of God is related to our salvation.

1Pe. 1:8~9 『Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.』

The Bible tells us that the goal of our faith is the salvation of our souls. Among many things God has taught us in regard to salvation, there is the Sabbath.

Heb. 3:18 『And to whom did God swear that they would never enter his rest if not to those who disobeyed?』

Here, obedience refers to "obedience to God's word." Through the Bible, God makes us fully realize the fact that those who do not obey God's word cannot enter eternal rest God has prepared-the kingdom of heaven-in the end.

Ps. 3:7~8 『Arise, O LORD! Deliver me, O my God! Strike all my enemies on the jaw; break the teeth of the wicked. From the LORD comes deliverance. May your blessing be on your people. Selah』

Salvation only comes from God. So if we do not obey the word of God who is the source of salvation and has control over our salvation, it is no different than giving up our salvation. God has already made known to us His purpose and plan for our salvation through the Bible.

If we truly look for salvation and hope for heaven, we must follow God's word. That's why the Bible tells us not to add to or subtract from the words of the Bible which is able to make us wise for salvation (2Ti. 3:15; Rev. 22:18~19).

The "Sabbath," a command of God

First, let's consider how God relates the Sabbath, one of His commands, to our salvation. At the time of Moses, 3,500 years ago, God declared the Sabbath as the fourth commandment of the Ten Commandments.

Ex. 20:8 『"Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy."』

God personally wrote these words on the tablets of stone. Those who do not obey these words cannot enter God's rest, the eternal kingdom of heaven.

We can confirm this fact through Hebrews 3. Every word of God is for our salvation. So we must not forget that God's teaching about the Sabbath is also absolutely related to our salvation.

This Sabbath becomes a sign of the "rest of the woman's offspring" when God finds them (Rev. 12:17; 14:12; Eze. 20:12). When God confirms whether someone is His real child or not, He will separate him from His children if he does not have the spiritual DNA called the"Sabbath," even though he apparently looks like a Christian.

"Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy." This is not merely a law, but it is the command of God our Father and the request of God our Mother, our Elohim who want everything to go well for us, Their heavenly children. We must obey the words of our Heavenly Parents, as Their children. Another thing we have to consider carefully is that the Sabbath was already established even before the Age of the Law-from the beginning of the world.

Ge. 2:1~3 『Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array. By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. And God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.』

The Biblical Sabbath is the seventh day, which corresponds to Saturday. To those who commemorate the power of the Creator and believe in Elohim the Creators, the Sabbath established by God is a very important and meaningful day. As a country's national holiday is important to its people but it is just an ordinary day to people in other countries, so the Sabbath is a truly precious day to God's children but it is meaningless to people who are not God's children.

Thus, the Sabbath serves as a sign to clearly distinguish between the people of God and those who are not.

Dt. 5:9~15 『"... Observe the Sabbath day by keeping it holy, as the LORD your God has commanded you. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your manservant or maidservant, nor your ox, your donkey or any of your animals, nor the alien within your gates, so that your manservant and maidservant may rest, as you do. Remember that you were slaves in Egypt and that the LORD your God brought you out of there with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. Therefore the LORD your God has commanded you to observe the Sabbath day."』

The Sabbath is a command of God. To lead human beings to the way of salvation, God has given them the Sabbath, a blessed day. So Jesus kept the Sabbath as a holy law, and Jesus' disciples and their disciples also kept the Sabbath, considering it as an important part of their life of faith. We can see this history of the early Church in the Bible (Lk. 4:16; Ac. 16:13; 17:2; 18:4).

The Sabbath of the Bible is Saturday not Sunday.

Most Christians are mistaken as to what day the seventh-day Sabbath is, believing it to be Sunday, even though the Bible testifies that the Sabbath is Saturday. The Day to Commemorate God the Creator

The Sabbath day is "a memorial day honoring the Creator who made the heavens and the earth," and is also "a day of rest." God created the heavens and the earth in six days and then rested on the seventh day from all of His work, even blessing this day.

Ge. 2:1~3 『Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array. By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. And God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.』

In the time of Moses, God commanded His people, in the fourth commandment of the Ten Commandments, to "remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy." God explained the purpose for keeping the Sabbath by saying, "In six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy" (Ex. 20:11). The seventh day was the day that God, the Creator, had blessed and it was the day that God's people were given to commemorate God's authority. God's people, who worshiped the Creator, kept the Sabbath day as their holy day. God gave His people the Sabbath as the sign by which God would recognize them as His people (Ezek. 20:11~17; Isa. 56:1~7).

The Sabbath day is to be a day of worshiping and of offering sacrifices to God, rather than simply a day of rest. God blessed those who kept the Sabbath day and brought great punishment and disaster upon those who did not keep the Sabbath day.

Jer. 17:24-27 『"But if you are careful to obey me, declares the LORD...keep the Sabbath day holy by not doing any work on it,...this city will be inhabited forever.... But if you do not obey me to keep the Sabbath day holy by not carrying any load as you come through the gates of Jerusalem on the Sabbath day, then I will kindle an unquenchable fire in the gates of Jerusalem that will consume her fortresses."』

The Sabbath Day Is Saturday

Today, we refer to the days of the week as 'Sunday, Monday, Tuesday,' and no longer 'the first day, the second day, the third day.' Our present-day system was developed in Rome where people decided to call the first day of the week 'Sunday,' the second day 'Monday,' the third day 'Tuesday,' and the seventh day 'Saturday.'

  

1) A calendar week has seven days; Sunday is the first day and Saturday is the seventh day.

  2) Think about the word. "Weekend." Which day does the 'end' of the 'week' indicate?

  3) Even in the dictionary, Sunday is defined as 'the first day of the week,' and Saturday as       'the seventh day of the week.'

  4) The Bible also testifies that the seventh day, the Sabbath day, is Saturday.

Mk. 16:9 『When Jesus rose early on the first day of the week...』

Jesus resurrected on the first day of the week. No one argues that Jesus resurrected on Sunday-the 'first day of the week'-which is why all Christians now celebrate Resurrection Day on Sunday. In the Good News Bible, this verse is written, 'After Jesus rose from death early on Sunday...' 

Since the first day of the week is Sunday, what day is the seventh day? Through the Bible, we can confirm that the Sabbath day is Saturday.

Jesus and His Apostles Kept the Sabbath

The Old Testament is a shadow and a copy of the New Testament. Thus, the law of the Old Testament was a shadow of the good things that were to come in the New Testament times (Heb. 10:1). The Sabbath day in the Old Testament was called "the Sabbath of Jehovah" (Ex. 31:13; Ezek. 20:12), while the Sabbath day in the New Testament was called "the Sabbath of Jesus" (Mt. 12:8; Lk. 6:5).

The Sabbath day, according to the Old Testament law, was only a copy; the Sabbath day of the new covenant, kept in Christ, is the reality. In the New Testament times, the apostles kept the Sabbath day by worshiping God in spirit and in truth, following Jesus Christ's example. Jesus kept the Sabbath as His custom.

Lk. 4:16 『He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom....』

In the New Testament times, the Sabbath day is referred to as "Jesus' [the Lord's] day" because the true Lord of the Sabbath is Jesus Christ. "For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath" (Mt. 12:8; Lk. 6:5). The apostles kept the Sabbath day as the "Lord's [Jesus'] day."

Rev. 1:10 『On the Lord's Day I was in the Spirit...』

As the times of the Old Testament passed away and the New Testament times began, the way in which God's people were to keep the Sabbath day was changed; however, the day the Sabbath was to be commemorated was never changed. (In the Old Testament times, God's people offered burnt offerings and could not even kindle a fire in their houses, while in New Testament times, people worshipped God in spirit and in truth.) The day itself could not be changed because it was on the seventh day that God had rested from all of His creating work. The apostles kept the Sabbath day as their custom, reasoning from the Scriptures as follows:

Ac. 17:2 『As his custom was, Paul went into the synagogue, and on three Sabbath days he reasoned with them from the Scriptures...』

Ac. 18:4 『Every Sabbath he reasoned in the synagogue, trying to persuade Jews and Greeks.』

As it is written in the above verses, the apostles kept the Sabbath day.

It is proven throughout the Scriptures that the Sabbath day-the seventh day, Saturday, Jesus' day-was kept until the apostolic age. So why do so many present-day Christians hold services on Sunday [the first day] and not on the Sabbath day? According to history, Sunday service originated from pagan sun-god worship. The Romans had been worshiping the sun god on the first day [Sunday], recognizing it as "the day of the sun," even before the birth of Jesus.

The Sabbath Was Changed to Sunday

After the apostles died, Christianity spread to western regions, including Rome. The gospel was preached to sun-god worshipers, and in the early 4th century, even the Roman emperor had heard the message of Christ. The emperor happened to be a leader of the sun-god worshipers, and when he converted to Christianity, many sun-god worshipers began to attend Church. As time passed, the faith of the Christians weakened, and they began to accept the customs of the sun-god worshipers. During this turn-over, they even began to rest and to worship on the first day of the week [Sunday]. In A.D. 321, Constantine, a Roman emperor, decreed an edict:

"All judges, city-people and craftsmen shall rest on the venerable day of the Sun." 

Some argue that the abolishment of the Sabbath compelled many people to convert to Christianity, but we must not forget that altering God's commandments was Satan's scheme. Satan, the devil, opposes God and has historically harassed God's people, using various methods.

He tried to destroy the Church of God through severe persecution. But, taking a close look at history, the more that God's people were persecuted, the more that they depended on God. When Satan changed his methods of persecution, however, and praised the Church, he tempted the Christians to combine their faiths together. They were given back the properties that had been taken from them, ministers were exempted from military service, and the Church was even given the right to emancipate slaves. Through all of these outwardly positive changes to the Church, the Christians unwittingly fell into Satan's schemes and knelt down before him. They turned their backs away from God, like an ignorant bear who doesn't realize that his gallbladder is going to be stolen, only focusing on the sweet candy he is being tempted with.

God clearly said that only he who does the will of God can enter the kingdom of heaven (Mt. 7:21~23). Which day should we worship God to please Him, Sunday which most people keep, or the Sabbath, Saturday, which God commanded His people to keep? It is unnecessary to reveal the answer, because the Sabbath day is clearly Saturday.

World Mission Society Church of God Church of God, established by God, does not follow man-made rules, only God's laws. They recognize that no one is able to give salvation except God, the Creator of the heavens and the earth. Jesus already revealed that those who follow the laws of men cannot be saved.

Mark 7:6~9 『He [Jesus] replied, "Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written: "'These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men.' You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to the traditions of men." And he said to them: "You have a fine way of setting aside the commands of God in order to observe your own traditions!"』

World Mission Society Church of God was established on the foundation of the apostles who followed the teachings of Jesus Christ, and it has not changed since its inception. The true Church follows the laws which Jesus and the apostles observed. 

No matter how many members a church has, if the church has different doctrines than those of Jesus Christ, it could not have originated from Jesus. We keep the Sabbath day-the memorial day of the Creator-not observing the law of the Old Testament, but following the law of the new covenant which Jesus and the apostles obeyed.

The saints, who will be saved on the last day, the day of God's judgment, are those who follow in Jesus' footsteps. The Sabbath day, one of Christ's footmarks, is a very precious commandment of God.

The only standard to determine heresy is the Bible.

World Mission Society Church of God is true church which follows teachings of the Bible.

Many people have a misunderstanding of what the heresy is nowadays. Once they find a man practicing doctrines different from their own, they likely think he belongs to a heresy. We are not supposed to judge others by our own thoughts, social standards, or popular opinions. We must understand what heresy is through the Bible.

2Pe. 2:1~3 『But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who brought them-bringing swift destruction on themselves. Many will follow their shameful ways and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they have made up. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping.』

The main characteristics of heresy are as follows;

1. It results in destruction.

2. It brings the way of truth into disrepute.

3. It follows man-made teachings, not the teachings of the Bible.

4. It opposes God through the teachings of false prophets.

5. It never leads to salvation.

 

What does the Bible say about heresy? It does not follow teachings of the Bible, but man-made teachings instead.   

1. Heresy does not keep the Sabbath in the Bible.

The Biblical Sabbath is Saturday. Every church must worship God on Saturday, not on Sunday. There are some proofs.

• "… The Scriptures enforce the religious observance of Saturday" (The Faith of Our Fathers, pp. 72～73).

• "The first day of the week [Sunday] was proclaimed as a day of rest and of worship … In 321 A.D. Constantine …" (The Story of the Christian Church, pp. 60～61).

Jesus also testifies the Sabbath day is His custom in the Bible. Jesus kept the Sabbath day as an example so that we should do as He did.

Lk. 4:16 『 ... on the Sabbath day he [Jesus] went into the synagogue, as was his custom. ... 』

Jn. 13:15 『I [Jesus] have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you.』

2. Heresy does not celebrate the Passover in the Bible.

The Passover is God's truth that gives us the forgiveness of sins and judges all other gods. Those who do not keep it will be cut off from God's people on the last day.

Mt. 26:17~28 『 ... This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.』

Jn. 6:54 『Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.』

Ex. 12:11~13 『 ... it is the LORD’s Passover. “On the same night … I will bring judgment on all the gods of Egypt. ... when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt.』

Nu. 9:13 『But if a man fails who is ceremonially clean and not on a journey fails to celebrate the Passover, that person must be cut off from his people ... 』

3. Heresy keeps Christmas [Dec. 25th] as Jesus' birthday.

Most contemporary Christians keep Christmas [Dec. 25th] as Jesus' birthday. In fact, Christmas is one of many pagan festivals not in the Bible.

• "The Christian church took over many pagan ideas and images. From sun-worship, for example, came the celebration of Christ's birth on the twenty-fifth of December, the birthday of the Sun” (A LION HANDBOOK / THE HISTORY OF CHRISTIANITY, p. 141).

• "December 25―this was the date of a pagan festival in Rome, chosen in A.D. 274 by the emperor Aurelian as the birthday of the unconquered sun (natalis solis invicti), which at the winter solstice begins again to show an increase of light" (ENCYCLOPAEDIA BRITANNICA, p. 704).

4. Heresy reveres a cross, an idol, from pagan Rome.

Cross is a type of execution tool used for crucifying brutal criminals, and is not the symbol of Jesus Christ.  

The standard of heresy is the Bible only. However most of Christians don't follow it. 2,000 years ago, Jesus and His Church of God were wrongfully accused as a Nazarene sect, one of the heresies (Ac. 24:5). However, most people acknowledge Jesus as their Christ. Likewise, the whole world will acknowledge Christ Ahnsahnghong and the Church of God in the end. Come to the Church of God and receive salvation.

Ahnsahnghong established World Mission Society Church of God.

Christ Ahnsahnghong who restored the feasts of God is Second Coming Christ.

Only World Mission Society Church of God which is established by Christ Ahnsahnghong keeps the feasts of God.

What is the Church every Christian wants to belong to? Isn’t it the Church Christ Himself established 2,000 years ago? Wouldn’t it be amazing sitting down next to Apostle James while Apostle Peter was delivering the Words taught by Jesus Himself. At that time, wouldn’t you feel secure you are in the right place? Then what is the difference now? Why are there so many different denominations of churches?

Gal. 1:6~9 『I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel-which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be eternally condemned! As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let him be eternally condemned!』

Apostle Paul clearly said if one is to change the Word of Christ he is cursed by God! For this reason God Almighty gave the warning not to add or take away from the Bible. (Rev 22:18~19) Then, what teachings did the Early Church keep that Apostle Paul so baldly defended?

These Feasts of God and many more found on Lev. 23 were the teachings of Jesus Christ. These were abolished in 325 AD by Roman Emperor Constantine as prophesied on Da. 7:25. During the Dark Ages there was no light of life and the earth was in spiritual darkness. However, merciful God promised to come a Second Time to bring salvation (Heb. 9:28). The way we recognize Christ Ahnsahnghong as the Second Coming Christ is because he restored the Feasts of God that only God Himself can restore. He is God Almighty in the flesh and by His word all things have been made. It may seem difficult to understand at first. However, anybody that comes to World Mission Society Church of God with a humble mind will understand and believe HE IS GOD!

According to the Bible, God has a dwelling place on this earth.

Ps. 132:13~14『For the LORD has chosen Zion, he has desired it for his dwelling: “This is my resting place for ever and ever; here I will sit enthroned, for I have desired it—』

How can we distinguish true Zion among all the other places that claim God dwells with them?

Isa. 33:20『Look upon Zion, the city of our festivals; your eyes will see Jerusalem』

As the prophet Isaiah wrote, Zion is wherever God Feasts are celebrated and we can see Jerusalem. What are God’s Feasts according to the Bible?


Leviticus 23
1. Sabbath
2. Passover
3. Unleavened Bread
4. Firstfruits (Resurrection)
5. Weeks (Pentecost)
6. Trumpets
7. Day of Atonement
8. Tabernacle


Wherever the Feasts mentioned above are celebrated, that is Zion – God’s dwelling place. The only place on earth that celebrated these Feast according to all of God’s regulations is World Mission Society Church of God. Why other churches don’t keep God’s Feasts?
Ever since AD 321 when the Sabbath was abolished, Zion had begun to be in ruins until the finally all of the Feasts of God where destroyed by Satan (Da. 7:25). If there is no Feasts of God, that mean there is no Zion, then there is no place where we can meet God for the forgiveness of Sins. This means for our salvation God has to come a second time (Heb. 9:28) If second coming Christ does not take pity on us and come down to this earth, we will completely lost only waiting for our death sentence due to the penalty of our sins (Ro. 6:23). What is our hope?

Ps. 102:16『For the LORD will rebuild Zion and appear in his glory.』

God will rebuild Zion! When?

Mic. 4:1~2『In the last days the mountain of the LORD’s temple will be established as chief among the mountains; it will be raised above the hills, and peoples will stream to it. The law (Feast of God) will go out from Zion, the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.』

In the last days Zion will be rebuilt. In order for Zion to be established, what needs to exist? The Feasts of God are needed because the Feasts of God make up Zion (Isa. 33:20). Then who will establish Zion?

Ps. 87: 5『Indeed, of Zion it will be said, “This one and that one were born in her, and the Most High himself will establish her.”』

The Most High (God Almighty) Himself will establish Zion. Meaning God Himself must bring back all the Feasts that were abolished throughout history.


In the last days, the only reason why the Church of God celebrates all of the Feasts of God is because only Christ Ahnsahnghong has established the Feasts of God for the redemption of His children in these last days. This means that our Father Christ Ahnsahnghong is the MOST HIGH HIMSELF. If He does not come to this earth and endures all pain, suffering and persecution just like He did 2,000 years ago, we will not have any hope for the Kingdom of Heaven, our Home. Also, in Zion our eyes have seen Jerusalem, our Mother (Gal. 4:26)
