the first and the last of the bible (the chuch of god/ahnsahnghong/heavenly mother/god the mother)

the church of god/god the father/god the mother believe in second coming Jesus, christ Ahnsahnhong.

the church of god/god the father believe in heavenly mother, the bride of second coming Jesus, christ Ahnsahnhong.

the church of god believes in the spirit and the bride.

There are lots of Christianity.
However people believe that only god the father exists.
Let's see that there is only god the father in the bible through the bible.

Ge 1:26 ~27 God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness." … in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

God said that male and female were created when God created man in his own image.
Because God said "in his own image", the male is God the father and female is god the mother.
Like this, God inform exactly that God the mother also exists not only god the father.

And let's see the revelation, the last of the bible.

Rev 22:17 The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" … let him take the free gift of water of life.

In the revelation, the last of the bible, John said the spirit and the bride give the water of life by revelation of god.
the spirit is god the father and the bride is god the mother.
Like this, the bible explain the existence of god the mother exactly.
what should we do if it is in the bible? We should believe it.

If the spirit and the bride give the water of life, we can go the kingdom of heaven when we belive in not only God the father but also God the mother.

I thank to god the fater and god the mother who came to this earth to give the water of life.

Paradigm of Heresy

Galileo Galilei, Joan of Arc, Jesus, Apostle Paul . . .What do these people have in common? They were branded as heretics by the religious power of their times, and were imprisoned or put to death.Still now, religious powers of this time define heresy with their own standards.

Remember the Sabbath Day by Keeping It Holy!

I was born a Christian. Every Sunday, I went to church for service and recited the Ten Commandments. I’ve never thought that the Lord’s Day[Sunday] is not the Sabbath.

God the Creator put the “secret of life” in the principle of nature. All the living creatures are given life by their fathers and mothers. In the same way, our spiritual life is given by God the Father and God the Mother.

Sabbath

The Church of God, that has received the Second Coming Christ Ahnsahnghong, keeps the Sabbath on Saturday, according to the Bible. The seventh-day Sabbath is the day on which God rested from creating the heavens and the earth. Most Christians are mistaken as to what day the seventh-day Sabbath is, believing it to be Sunday, even though the Bible testifies that the Sabbath is Saturday. And they do not keep the Sabbath day, being bound to their customs, even though they realize that the Sabbath is actually Saturday. The Bible warns us not to add or subtract even the smallest letter from the Bible. Rev. 22:18-19 『I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.』 The Day to Commemorate God the CreatorThe Sabbath day is "a memorial day honoring the Creator, who made the heavens and the earth," and is also "a day of rest." God created the heavens and the earth in six days and then rested on the seventh day from all of His work, even blessing this day. Gen. 2:1-3 『Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array. By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. And God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.』 In the time of Moses, God commanded His people, in the fourth commandment of the Ten Commandments, to "remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy." God explained the purpose for keeping the Sabbath by saying, "In six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy" (Ex. 20:11). The seventh day was the day that God, the Creator, had blessed and it was the day that God's people were given to commemorate God's authority. God's people, who worshiped the Creator, kept the Sabbath day as their holy day. God gave His people the Sabbath as the sign by which God would recognize them as His people (Ezek. 20:11-17; Isa. 56:1-7). The Sabbath day is to be a day of worshiping and of offering sacrifices to God, rather than simply a day of rest. God blessed those who kept the Sabbath day and brought great punishment and disaster upon those who did not keep the Sabbath day. Jer. 17:24-27 『"But if you are careful to obey me, declares the LORD...keep the Sabbath day holy by not doing any work on it,...this city will be inhabited forever.... But if you do not obey me to keep the Sabbath day holy by not carrying any load as you come through the gates of Jerusalem on the Sabbath day, then I will kindle an unquenchable fire in the gates of Jerusalem that will consume her fortresses."』 The Sabbath Day Is SaturdayToday, we refer to the days of the week as 'Sundaay, Monday, Tuesday,' and no longer 'the first day, the second day, the third day.' Our present-day system was developed in Rome where people decided to call the first day of the week 'Sunday,' the second day 'Monday,' the third day 'Tuesday,' and the seventh day 'Saturday.' 1) A calendar week has seven days; Sunday is the first day and Saturday is the seventh day. 2) Think about the word. "Weekend." Which day does the 'end' of the 'week' indicate? 3) Even in the dictionary, Sunday is defined as 'the first day of the week,' and Saturday as 'the seventh day of the week.' 4) The Bible also testifies that the seventh day, the Sabbath day, is Saturday. Mark 16:9 (When Jesus rose early on the first day of the week...) Jesus resurrected on the first day of the week. No one argues that Jesus resurrected on Sunday-the 'first day of the week'-which is why all Christians now celebrate Resurrection Day on Sunday. In the Good News Bible, this verse is written, 'After Jesus rose from death early on Sunday...' Since the first day of the week is Sunday, what day is the seventh day? Through the Bible, we can confirm that the Sabbath day is Saturday. Jesus and His Apostles Kept the SabbathThe Old Testament is a shadow and a copy of the New Testament. Thus, the law of the Old Testament was a shadow of the good things that were to come in the New Testament times (Heb. 10:1). The Sabbath day in the Old Testament was called "the Sabbath of Jehovah" (Ex. 31:13; Ezek. 20:12), while the Sabbath day in the New Testament was called "the Sabbath of Jesus" (Matt. 12:8; Luke 6:5). The Sabbath day, according to the Old Testament law, was only a copy; the Sabbath day of the new covenant, kept in Christ, is the reality. In the New Testament times, the apostles kept the Sabbath day by worshiping God in spirit and in truth, following Jesus Christ's example. Jesus kept the Sabbath as His custom. Luke 4:16 『He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom....』 In the New Testament times, the Sabbath day is referred to as "Jesus' [the Lord's] day" because the true Lord of the Sabbath is Jesus Christ. "For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath" (Matt. 12:8; Luke 6:5). The apostles kept the Sabbath day as the "Lord's [Jesus'] day." Rev. 1:10 『On the Lord's Day I was in the Spirit...』 As the times of the Old Testament passed away and the New Testament times began, the way in which God's people were to keep the Sabbath day was changed; however, the day the Sabbath was to be commemorated was never changed. (In the Old Testament times, God's people offered burnt offerings and could not even kindle a fire in their houses, while in New Testament times, people worshipped God in spirit and in truth.) The day itself could not be changed because it was on the seventh day that God had rested from all of His creating work. The apostles kept the Sabbath day as their custom, reasoning from the Scriptures as follows: Acts 17:2 『As his custom was, Paul went into the synagogue, and on three Sabbath days he reasoned with them from the Scriptures...』 Acts 20:6-7 『But we sailed from Philippi after the Feast of Unleavened Bread, and five days later joined the others at Troas, where we stayed seven days. On the first day of the week we came together to break bread...』 As it is written in the above verses, the apostles kept the Sabbath day. It is proven throughout the Scriptures that the Sabbath day?the seventh day, Saturday, Jesus' day?was kept until the apostolic age. So why do so many present-day Christians hold services on Sunday [the first day] and not on the Sabbath day? According to history, Sunday service originated from pagan sun-god worship. The Romans had been worshiping the sun god on the first day [Sunday], recognizing it as "the day of the sun," even before the birth of Jesus. The Sabbath Was Changed to SundayAfter the apostles died, Christianity spread to western regions, including Rome. The gospel was preached to sun-god worshipers, and in the early 4th century, even the Roman emperor had heard the message of Christ. The emperor happened to be a leader of the sun-god worshipers, and when he converted to Christianity, many sun-god worshipers began to attend Church. As time passed, the faith of the Christians weakened, and they began to accept the customs of the sun-god worshipers. During this turn-over, they even began to rest and to worship on the first day of the week [Sunday]. In A.D. 321, Constantine, a Roman emperor, decreed an edict: "All judges, city-people and craftsmen shall rest on the venerable day of the Sun." Some argue that the abolishment of the Sabbath compelled many people to convert to Christianity, but we must not forget that altering God's commandments was Satan's scheme. Satan, the devil, opposes God and has historically harassed God's people, using various methods. He tried to destroy the Church of God through severe persecution. But, taking a close look at history, the more that God's people were persecuted, the more that they depended on God. When Satan changed his methods of persecution, however, and praised the Church, he tempted the Christians to combine their faiths together. They were given back the properties that had been taken from them, ministers were exempted from military service, and the Church was even given the right to emancipate slaves. Through all of these outwardly positive changes to the Church, the Christians unwittingly fell into Satan's schemes and knelt down before him. They turned their backs away from God, like an ignorant bear who doesn't realize that his gallbladder is going to be stolen, only focusing on the sweet candy he is being tempted with. God clearly said that only he who does the will of God can enter the kingdom of heaven (Matt. 7:21-23). Which day should we worship God to please Him, Sunday which most people keep, or the Sabbath, Saturday, which God commanded His people to keep? It is unnecessary to reveal the answer, because the Sabbath day is clearly Saturday. The Church of God Established by GodThe Church of God, established by God, does not follow man-made rules, only God's laws. They recognize that no one is able to give salvation except God, the Creator of the heavens and the earth. Jesus already revealed that those who follow the laws of men cannot be saved. Mark 7:6-9 『He [Jesus] replied, "Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written: "'These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men.' You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to the traditions of men." And he said to them: "You have a fine way of setting aside the commands of God in order to observe your own traditions!"』 The Church of God was established on the foundation of the apostles who followed the teachings of Jesus Christ, and it has not changed since its inception. The true Church follows the laws which Jesus and the apostles observed. No matter how many members a church has, if the church has different doctrines than those of Jesus Christ, it could not have originated from Jesus. We keep the Sabbath day?the memorial day of the Creator?not observing the law of the Old Testament, but following the law of the new covenant which Jesus and the apostles obeyed. The saints, who will be saved on the last day, the day of God's judgment, are those who follow in Jesus' footsteps. The Sabbath day, one of Christ's footmarks, is a very precious commandment of God.

About the Veil

Today many Christian churches teach a woman must not wear a veil on her head. Specifically, the Protestant churches do not allow a woman to cover her head. Is it right or wrong for a woman to put on a veil during worship or prayer? We must judge it by the words of God in the Bible.
Php 4:9 Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me―put it into practice. And God will be with you.

Why must a woman cover her head during service or prayer? Let's find out the answer through the Bible.
1 Co 11:1 Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.
:3 The head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.
:4 Every man who prays or prophesies with his head covered dishonors his head.
:5-6 And every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head―it is just as though her head were shaved.
The Bible says that a woman must cover her head during service or prayer. Otherwise, she dishonors her head before God. The Apostle Paul says it is the teachings of Christ for a woman to cover her head.
We can also understand this through the providence of Creation.
1 Co 11:7-10 For man did not come from woman, but woman from man; neither was man created for woman, but woman for man.
A woman ought to cover her head because she came from man and was created for man. Here we can understand that the veil is closely related to God's Creation. A woman disobeys God's will of Creation when she refuses to cover her head.
It can also be comprehended through human nature.
1 Co 11:13-16 Does not the very nature of things teach you … that if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? … If anyone wants to be contentious about this, we have no other practice―nor do the churches of God. [But if anyone wants to argue about it, all I have to say is that neither we nor the churches of God have any other custom in worship, TEV]
A woman can understand that she must cover her head because her nature teaches her to do so. Besides, Paul says that the Churches of God have no other practice. A woman must cover her head in keeping with God's will.

Today most Protestant churches teach a woman not to cover her head during service or prayer. The Roman Catholic Church allows a priest and a woman to cover their heads. The Jews still cover their heads. However, the Bible teaches us that a man must not cover his head, but a woman must cover her head during service or prayer. We must obey God's words for our salvation without adding or subtracting.
Rev 22:18-19 If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.
Today only the Church of God follows God' teaching of the veil. Why don't you come to the Church of God and receive salvation? God bless you.

About Heresy

Today many people have a misunderstanding of what heresy is. Once they find a man practicing doctrines different from their own, they likely think he belongs to a heresy. We are not supposed to judge others by our own thoughts, social standards, or popular opinions. We must understand what heresy is through the Bible.
2 Pe 2:1-3 They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them.
The main characteristics of heresy are as follows;
1. It results in destruction.
2. It brings the way of truth into disrepute.
3. It follows man-made teachings, not the teachings of the Bible.
4. It opposes God through the teachings of false prophets.
5. It never leads to salvation.

What does the Bible say about heresy? It does not follow teachings of the Bible, but man-made teachings instead.
1. Heresy does not keep the Sabbath in the Bible.
The Biblical Sabbath is Saturday. Every church must worship God on Saturday, not on Sunday. Let me give you some proof.
• "… The Scriptures enforce the religious observance of Saturday" (The Faith of Our Fathers, pp. 72~73).
• "The first day of the week [Sunday] was proclaimed as a day of rest and of worship … In 321 A.D. Constantine …" (The Story of the Christian Church, pp. 60~61).
Jesus also testifies the Sabbath day is His custom in the Bible. Jesus kept the Sabbath day as an example so that we should do as He did.
Lk 4:16 On the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom
Jn 13:15 I [Jesus] have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you.
2. Heresy does not celebrate the Passover in the Bible. The Passover is God's truth that gives us the forgiveness of sins and judges all other gods. Those who do not keep it will be cut off from God's people on the last day.
Mt 26:17-28 This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
Jn 6:53 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life.
Ex 12:11-12 On the same night … I will bring judgement on all the gods of Egypt.
Nu 9:13 If a man fails who is ceremonially clean and not on a journey fails to celebrate the Passover, that person must be cut off from his people.
3. Most contemporary Christians keep Christmas [Dec. 25th] as Jesus' birthday. In fact, Christmas is one of many pagan festivals not in the Bible.
• "The Christian church took over many pagan ideas and images. From sun-worship, for example, came the celebration of Christ's birth on the twenty-fifth of December, the birthday of the Sun” (A LION HANDBOOK / THE HISTORY OF CHRISTIANITY, p. 141).
• "December 25―this was the date of a pagan festival in Rome, chosen in A.D. 274 by the emperor Aurelian as the birthday of the unconquered sun (natalis solis invicti), which at the winter solstice begins again to show an increase of light" (ENCYCLOPAEDIA BRITANNICA, p. 704).
4. Heresy reveres a cross, an idol, from pagan Rome. It is a type of execution tool used for crucifying brutal criminals, and is not the symbol of Jesus Christ.

2,000 years ago, Jesus and His Church of God were wrongfully accused as a Nazarene sect, one of the heresies (Ac 24:5). However, most people acknowledge Jesus as their Christ. Likewise, the whole world will acknowledge Christ Ahnsahnghong and the Church of God in the end. Come to the Church of God and receive salvation. God bless you.

The Bible Is Fact

The Bible begins with the creation of the heavens and the earth, and it ends with the creation of a new heaven and a new earth. Some say and believe that the Bible is just fiction. Some say the Bible is only a historical book of Israel. And some say the Bible has nothing to do with them because Jesus is only the Jewish God of Israel. However, the Bible is a fact and is confirmed by science. The Bible surely has something to do with all mankind and their salvation.

When we study human history, we can find one day missing. We can find the answer to that mystery in the Bible.
Jos 10:12 "O sun, stand still over Gibeon, O moon, over the Valley of Aijalon." So the sun stood still … The sun stopped in the middle of the sky and delayed going down about a full day.
In order for Joshua to win the battle, God made the sun stand still in the middle of the sky about a full day. Here we can find one clue for a day lost in our history. Let's find another one to solve this mystery.
2 Ki 20:11 The LORD made the shadow go back the ten steps it had gone down on the stairway of Ahaz.
We can find the lost 40 minutes here. These two episodes strongly support that the Bible is a fact.
cf) 360÷10=36 / 1 day=1,440 minutes / 1,440÷36=40 minutes=10 degree
The Bible also gives us much knowledge of the sky.
Job 26:7 He spreads out the northern skies over empty space; he suspends the earth over nothing.
This fact proved to be true in recent times. How did Job know this fact 3,500 years ago without an astronomical telescope?
Job 36:27 He draws up the drops of water, which distill as rain to the streams; the clouds pour down their moisture and abundant showers fall on mankind.
This describes the process of formation and fall of rain. It was proven by scientists in recent times. How did Job get this scientific knowledge 3,500 years ago? This also proves that the Bible has much fact and agrees with science.
The Bible has lots of historical facts. Let's find out.
Isa 45:1 To Cyrus, whose right hand I take hold of to subdue nations before him.
This prophecy of Cyrus by the Prophet Isaiah was fulfilled 170 years later.
Ezr 1:1 In the first year of Cyrus king of Persia. … The LORD, the God heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth.
Da 8:20 The two-horned ram that you saw represents the kings of Media and Persia.
God showed Daniel a nation to appear in the future, and He named it. As prophesied in the Bible, Media and Persia rose after Babylon.
Like this, all the remaining prophecies of the Bible are surely to happen.
Rev 21:1 I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away.
Here the first heaven and the first earth represent our physical life, and a new heaven and a new earth our spiritual life to come. We will be able to achieve the spiritual life through our faithful life on earth.

We studied that the Bible is fact. Unbelief of the Bible causes men to waver in their belief of God. Believe in God and receive His blessing of salvation on the last day. God bless you.

About Food

Some claim that we should abstain from certain foods. Today we will study through the Bible God's correct teaching about food.
Rev 22:18 If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.
We must not add anything to the words of the Bible or subtract anything from them. We must follow the Bible's teaching as it says.

Now let's study about the food which God has allowed us to eat in each age. First of all, what did God allow Adam and Eve to eat in the Garden of Eden?
Ge 1:29 I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.
Let's find out what God told His people to eat in the time of Noah.
Ge 9:3 Everything that lives and moves will be food for you.
What did God command His people to eat in the time of Moses?
Lev 11:1 Of all the animals that live on land, these are the ones you may eat.
How about the time of the Early Church? Let's find out.
Ac 15:28 You are to abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from the meat of strangled animals and from sexual immorality.
God allowed specific food for His people to eat in each age. They obeyed God's teaching without adding or taking away from His Word. In the last days, we should also keep God's teaching, not our own ideas or teachings from the churches.
1 Ti 4:1 In later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons … They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods.
The doctrines of some churches keep people from marrying and from eating certain food. The Bible says that they are taught by demons. Their consciences have been seared as with a hot iron. We must follow God's teaching in the Bible.

In these last days, some people have appeared to teach such false doctrines as prophesied in the Bible. Who preaches such deceiving doctrines? It is S.D.A., the Seventh-day Adventists. They insist only vegetarians can be saved. The Roman Catholic Church forbids their clergy to marry. They are all led by demons. They do not follow God's teaching in the Bible.
We must be careful not to follow man's teaching but God's teaching for our salvation. God bless you.

The City of Refuge and the Earth

According to Moses' law, a man who kills someone accidently may flee to the city of refuge and save his life. He must stay there until the death of the high priest. He could never be freed with a ransom.
However, a man who kills someone intentionally must be put to death. He can never save his life, even if he flees to the city of refuge.
Nu 35:9-34 Select some towns to be your cities of refuge, to which a person who has killed someone accidentally may flee.
This law has something to do with our salvation. Today we will study the prophetical relationship between the city of refuge and the earth.

The law of the city of refuge is one of the prophecies to be fulfilled by Jesus. Let's find out how Jesus accomplished this law. First, we need to find out who the high priest stands for.
Da 9:24 To anoint the most holy [most holy one].
The prophet Daniel said the most holy one would be anointed. Let's find out who he is.
Heb 5:8 … (Jesus) was designated by God to be high priest in the order of Melchizedek.
Jesus was anointed as high priest as prophesied. The Bible testifies that we are all sinners from heaven who came down to this earth. Here on earth we are aliens and strangers.
Heb 11:13 They admitted that they were aliens and strangers on earth. … they were longing for a better country―a heavenly one.
We are sinners who accidently committed sin against God in heaven and fled to the earth temporarily for the sake of our lives. This earth is the spiritual city of refuge where heavenly sinners stay for a while before they return home, heaven.
How can we go back to our home? We can find the answer through the law of the city of refuge. Accidental murderers could return to their own property only through the sacrifice of the high priest. We, the accidental murderers from heaven, can go back to our heavenly home only through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, the high priest. We can never be freed with a ransom.
1 Pe 1:18 It was not perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed. … but with the precious blood of Christ (the high priest).
Eph 1:7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins.
We can receive redemption and return to our heavenly home only through the blood of Jesus, the heavenly high priest. Nothing else enables us go back to our heavenly home.
The bottom line is Jesus' blood. How can we receive Jesus' blood? Let's find out.
Heb 5:10 And was designated by God to be high priest in the order of Melchizedek.
Jesus came in the order of Melchizedek and gave us the forgiveness of our sins through the Passover bread and wine. They represent the flesh and blood of Jesus, who is the Passover sacrifice.

In the last days Second Coming Christ Ahnsahnhong appeared as the high priest in the order of Melchizedek. We can go back to heaven, our home, only through His Passover sacrifice. Believe in Him and receive redemption to go back to our home. God bless you.

The Soul Exists

Man consists of a body and a soul. Some say that our soul doesn't exist. Some say our soul is destroyed when our body dies. Today we will study the truth about our soul through the Bible.

Let's find out through the Bible what elements a man consists of.
Ge 2:7 The LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life.
God created a man with the dust and the breath of life. What does the dust represent here? (body) How about the breath of life? (spirit) Now let's find out what happens to these two when a man dies.
Ecc 12:7 The dust returns to the ground and the spirit returns to God.
Our body returns to the ground and begins to decay. Our spirit returns to God, not being destroyed. The Bible teaches us that our soul exists. Let's study more about this.
Mt 10:28 Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul.
Jesus tells us not to be afraid of those who can kill only our body but to fear God who can destroy both our body and soul. Jesus also testifies that our soul still exists even after our body dies.
Job 19:26 And after my skin has been destroyed, yet in my flesh [after this body has been destroyed, NIV] I will see God.
Job wanted to see God after his body had been destroyed. What do you think would see God, his body or soul?
Heb 12:9 We have all had human fathers … How much more should we submit to the Father of our spirits and live!
We have a human father and a spiritual Father. As our body is given by our human father, so our soul is given by our spiritual Father. Our spirit surely exists.
The Apostle Paul also says there are a natural body and a spiritual body, which mean a body and a soul. He also testifies that our soul exists.
1 Co 15:44 It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body.
Our body and soul separate when we die. After death our soul still exists apart from our body. Let's confirm this fact through the Bible.
1 Ki 17:21 The boy's life (soul, KJV) returned to him, and he lived.
Our spirit will face God's judgment after it leaves our body.
Rev 20:11 The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books.

Our soul exists and it will be judged according to its deeds after death. After we take off this body of earthly life, a shadow, our spirit will live a heavenly life, the reality. The soul does exit. God bless you.

Blessings Through Tithing

According to the history in the Garden of Eden, Satan led Adam and Eve to disobey God's command. Satan still works to deceive God's people. Today we will study about tithing, one of God's commands. Satan keeps God's people from obeying God's law of tithes. What must we follow, God's command or Satan's deceitfulness?

First of all, let's study whom tithes belong to.
Mal 3:7 Ever since the time of your forefathers you have turned away from my decrees and have not kept them. … Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse.
According to the Bible, tithing is God's command. Satan deceives people into not giving tithes. What will happen to us when we are overcome by Satan? We will face God's punishment on the last day.
To overcome the deceitfulness of Satan, we must understand why God wants us to give tithes. Tithing gives us heavenly blessings. God wants to give us the eternal blessing of the kingdom of heaven through tithing.
Only who is worthy to receive our tithes then? Let's find out.
Lev 27:30 A tithe of everything from the land, whether grain from the soil or fruit from the trees belongs to the LORD; it is holy to the LORD.
A tithe of everything belongs to God, so we must give a tithe to Him.
How can we tithe only to God? Let's find out.
Ge 14:17 Abram gave him [Melchizedek] a tenth of everything.
God wants us to give tithes to Him. Here Abraham offered his tithes to Melchizedek. Whom does Melchizedek signify then?
Heb 7:1 This Melchizedek was king of Salem and priest of God Most High. … and Abraham gave him a tenth of everything. … like a Son of God he remains a priest forever.
Melchizedek stands for Jesus, God our Savior. We must tithe to Jesus, Melchizedek, who blesses us through the Passover bread and wine.

It is the true offering when tithes are offered to Melchizedek, our God. In these last days you can enter the kingdom of heaven only when you recognize Melchizedek and give tithes to Him. God bless you.

The Law of Tithe

Tithing is an offering to God, a tenth of one's income or property. It is not worldly substance, but a holy offering like a lamb or a goat in the time of Moses.
We must honor God by offering our firstfruits. God will bless us, so that our barns will be filled to overflowing.
Pr 3:9 Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing.
The origin of tithing can be found in Genesis. Abraham the father of faith shows us a good example of tithing to God. After defeating his enemies to rescue Lot and returning home, Abraham met Melchizedek. Melchizedek blessed Abraham through bread and wine and Abraham gave Melchizedek a tenth of everything―a tenth of all the goods he had obtained in battle.
Ge 14:17 Abram gave him [Melchizedek] a tenth of everything.

Some say we don't have to observe tithing nowadays. However, Jesus teaches us that we must practice it because it belongs to God.
Mt 22:21 Give to Caesar what is Caesar's, and Give to God what is God's.
Jesus wants us to give to God what is God's. Let's figure out what belongs to God through the Bible.
Lev 27:30 A tithe of everything from the land, whether grain from the soil or fruit from the trees belongs to the LORD; it is holy to the LORD.
Tithes belong to God. We must give tithes to God as Jesus commands. Let's find out Jesus' correct teachings of tithing in the Bible.
Mt 23:23 You should have practiced the latter [justice, mercy …], without neglecting the former [a tithe].
We must tithe to God cheerfully, not reluctantly.
2 Co 9:7 Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
cf.) "The true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth" (Jn 4:23).
What God wants is our heart to be with God, not our possessions.
2 Co 12:14 What I want is not your possessions but you.
God wants us to store up for ourselves treasures in heaven through tithing. That is what God really wants from us.
Mt 6:19-20 Store up for yourselves treasures in heaven.
Mal 3:7-12 See if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.
Through tithing God gives us much blessing. We can receive heavenly blessing by God's precious law of tithe.

Abraham gave a tenth of everything and he was blessed by God (Ge 14:17-; Ge 12:3). Jacob vowed to give a tithe to God, and he was also blessed by practicing tithes (Ge 28:22). Likewise, God will bless us when we practice giving tithes.
To give tithes these days can be difficult. It is a testimony of your love and faith in Christ when you "obey" tithing. Your obedience shows that you really love Christ, just as Abraham did long ago. Have a strong faith in God's promise and you will surely be blessed by God. God bless you.

The Book of Life

Once born, everyone's name is recorded on a birth certificate. In the same way, our names are recorded in the book of life through baptism. We can receive salvation at the last day when our names are written in the book of life.
Lk 10:17-20 But rejoice that your names are written in heaven.

Our names are written in the book of life when we are reborn through baptism.
Ro 6:1-4 We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death. … we too may have a new life.
In the last days only those whose names are written in the book of life will be redeemed.
Isa 4:2-3 In that day … Those who are left in Zion, who remain in Jerusalem, will be called holy, all who are recorded among the living in Jerusalem.
After baptism, only the people who remain in Zion and do the gospel work will be found written in the book of life.
Da 12:1 At that time your people―everyone whose name is found written in the book―will be delivered.
Php 4:2 Along with Clement and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the book of life.
What will happen to those whose names are not found written in the book of life on the last day?
Rev 20:12-15 If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.
All whose names are not written in the book of life will go to the lake of fire on the last day. Why is that? Let's find out the reason through the Bible.
Rev 13:8 All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast―all whose names have not been written in the book of life belonging to the Lamb.
It is because all the people belong to the beast, Satan, when they are not written in the book of life.
We must be careful that our names are not blotted out of the book of life. Our names will be blotted when we are found unrighteous.
Ps 69:28 May they be blotted out of the book of life and not be listed with the righteous.
False prophets will be blotted because of false words and lying visions.
Eze 13:9 They will not belong to the council of my people or be listed in the records of the house of Israel.
People who overcome will be written forever in the book of life.
Rev 3:5 I will never blot out his name from the book of life.
How can we have our names written in the book of life in heaven?
Mt 16:19 Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
Once written in the book of life on earth, our names will also be written in the book of life in heaven.

The church without the book of life can not lead us to salvation. It is the Church of God that has the book of life. Come to the Church of God and receive salvation of your soul. God bless you.

Be Baptized Immediately

Today we will study how significant baptism is for us, sinners. Baptism is the first step toward the kingdom of heaven. In order for us to go to heaven, we must be freed from sin as quickly as possible. God promises us the forgiveness of our sins through baptism. We must not wait to be baptized for any reason. It is wrong to teach people to be baptized after six months or one year of studying the Bible.

The Bible says that we are not supposed to postpone baptism. Let's find out why we must receive baptism at once.
Pr 27:1 Do not boast about tomorrow for you do not know what a day may bring forth.
Nobody knows what will happen in his future. What if we die in the middle of studying the Bible without the forgiveness of our sins through baptism? This is why we must be baptized without any hesitation. Let's confirm this through Jesus' teachings in the Bible.
Lk 12:16-21 This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?
This is a good example of why we must be baptized the moment we believe in God. We must be baptized at once because we don't know what's happening to us in the future.
Now why don't we find good examples of baptism through the Bible?
Ac 8:30-39 Look, here is water. Why shouldn't I be baptized?
An Ethiopian eunuch got baptized at the very moment he received Jesus as his Savior through the Bible.
Ac 10:48 So he ordered that they be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ.
Cornelius and his family wanted to be baptized and were baptized right away.
Ac 16:29-34 At that hour of the night. … immediately he and all his family were baptized
The jailer and all his family were baptized immediately, very late that night, when they realized Jesus was the Christ.
Ac 16:13-15 The Lord opened her heart to respond to Paul's message. … she and the members of her household were baptized.
Lydia and her family were baptized at once when they received Jesus.
People must be baptized again if they had been baptized in a false church.
Ac 19:3-7 John's baptism was a baptism of repentance. … On hearing this, they were baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus.
Those who had been baptized by John the baptist were baptized again. It was because Jesus is the Savior, not John. In the same way we must be baptized in the true church which obeys God's truth.
God blesses us with the forgiveness of sins through baptism.
Ac 2:38 Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the Forgiveness of yours sins.
Mk 16:15 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved.

Baptism is the primary ceremony to wash our sins away. It is the ceremony of promise that we will be God's people and live according to His will, being released from the power of Satan. Receive baptism in the Church of God and have the forgiveness of your sins. God bless you.

Apart From Me You Can Do Nothing

Today we will share God's grace by studying "Apart from me, you can do nothing". We are most likely to leave God when we don't delight in the life of faith. We can do nothing apart from God just as a fish can not survive once it leaves water.

Let's find out through the Bible what will happen to those leaving God.
Jn 15:5 Apart from me you can do nothing.
2 Pe 2:20-22 A dog returns to its vomit … A sow that is washed goes back to her wallowing in the mud.
Once we believe in God, He washes away our sins. We will defile ourselves with this sinful world when we leave God and go back to where we were. We are nothing apart from God.
Now let's study about what kind of faith we must have in God.
Mt 10:21 But he who stands firm to the end will be saved.
Rev 14:12 This calls for patient endurance on the part of the saints who obey God's commandments and remain faithful to Jesus.
Whatever happens and whatever challenges our faith, we must have patient endurance and stand firm to the end for our salvation.
What types of people lost their faith and left God in the time of Early Church?
Mt 13:3 Listen then to what the parable of the sower means.
The first type is like the seed fallen along the path. He hears God's message about the kingdom and does not understand it.
The second one is like the seed fallen on rocky places. He hears the word and at once receives with joy. Since he has no root, he lasts only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, he quickly falls away from God.
The third one is like the seed fallen among the thorns. He hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke it, making it unfruitful. These are the three types that leave God.
Some people left God in the time of Early Church. Why did they leave God and go back to the sinful world? Let's find out.
Gal 1:6 I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel.
2 Pe 2:1-3 They will secretly introduce destructive heresies … these teachers will exploit you with stories they have made up.
2 Ti 4:9 For Demas, because he loved this world, has deserted me.
In the time of Early Church, people left God to follow a different gospel, destructive heresies, and their love of this sinful world. We must be careful not to fall into this temptation and stand firm to the end.

We can do nothing when we leave God. We have to remain in God until the last day.
Do you understand how to remain in God always? Through the Passover you can participate in His blood (Jn 6:56) and become one with God. He will be in you and you will be in Him forever. Come to the Church of God and receive God's glory of the Passover. God bless you.

Watch Out for False Prophets

Jesus warned us to watch out for false prophets in the last days. Let's find out through God's teaching who the false prophets are.

Mt 7:13 Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.
Jesus teaches us that we can hardly tell who the false prophets are by their appearances. So Jesus shows us the main characteristic of false prophets so we can recognize them.
Mt 7:21-23 Only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven … 'Away from me, you evildoers!' [Away from me, you who practice lawlessness, NKJV]
False prophets appear to prophesy and perform many miracles in the name of Jesus. Actually they don't keep God's law but practice lawlessness. This is how we can recognize the false prophets.
What will happen to them on the last day? They will never enter the kingdom of heaven and they will be thrown into the fire.
Mt 13:41 All who do evil … They will throw them into the fiery furnace.
All the followers of the false prophets will be destroyed too.
Isa 9:16 Those who are guided are led astray.
False prophets try to prevent us from entering the kingdom of heaven.
Mt 23:13 Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to.
False prophets may seem to be beautiful and righteous, but they are full of hypocrisy and wickedness.
Mt 23:27-28 But on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness.
False prophets keep man-made laws, not God's law. They are liars, sons of the devil, who will not be saved. Only those who keep the word of God can receive eternal life.
Jn 8:44 You belong to your father, the devil … for he is a liar and the father of lies.
Jn 8:51 If anyone keeps my word, he will never see death.
All the false prophets and their followers will be thrown into fire on the last day. Only people who obey the word of God will be blessed and enter the kingdom of Heaven.
Rev 21:8 Their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur.
Rev 1:3 Blessed are those who hear it and take it to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.

In these last days the devil tries to mislead people through lawlessness because he knows that his time is short. Where can we find the true prophets?
Jer 3:14-15 Return, faithless people … I will choose you and bring you to Zion. Then I will give you shepherds after my own heart.
Ps 132:13 For the LORD has chosen Zion, he has desired it for his dwelling.
Ps 133:1-3 For there the LORD bestows his blessing, even life forevermore.
The true prophets are in Zion where God's appointed feasts are celebrated. They will lead us to eternal life with God's law. Come to Zion! Follow the true prophets and receive salvation from God! God bless you.

Weeds and Wheat

Today's churches have different doctrines that differ from each other. In the Bible, there are the true gospel and a different gospel, God's word and man-made stories, and the true church and the false churches. How can we distinguish the true church from the false ones? God shows us a clear difference between the two through the parable of weeds and wheat.
Mt 13:24-30, 37-43 First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn … They will throw them into the fiery furnace … Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father.
Here the wheat symbolizes the righteous. The weeds signify the unrighteous to be thrown into the fiery furnace on the last day.

Those who practice lawlessness will not enter the kingdom of heaven, but enter the fiery furnace on the last day.
Mt 7:21-23 I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness (NKJV).
Weeds are the unrighteous, the false churches. They do not obey God's law such as the Sabbath day and the Passover. They practice lawlessness such as Sunday, Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Halloween instead.
The truth of the Early Church is pure and perfect. God wants us to have pure faith in the teachings of Jesus and the Early Church before the weeds of lawlessness were sown.
Eph 2:20 Built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets.
What is the truth of the Early Church? First, the Early Church kept the Sabbath day.
Lk 4:16 On the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom.
Ac 17:2 As his custom was, Paul went into the synagogue, and on three Sabbath days he reasoned with them from the Scriptures.
The Early Church celebrated the Passover of the new covenant.
Mt 26:18, 26-28 I am going to celebrate the Passover … This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
In the Early Church, women covered their heads.
1 Co 11:1-6, 16 Every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head.
The Early Church kept the day of Pentecost.
Ac 2:1 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.
The Early Church celebrated the Feast of Tabernacles.
Jn 7:2 When the Jewish Feast of Tabernacles was near.

The weeds outlive the wheat and they prevail over the wheat at the harvest when not uprooted. Jesus told the harvesters not to uproot the weeds until the harvest, the end of the age (Mt 13:29). So the weeds, false churches, prosper throughout the whole world in these last days. Even though they look very enormous and gorgeous, they have no truth at all. They are the very weeds to be thrown into the fire at the harvest. The wheat, the true church, will be brought into God's barn, the heavenly kingdom. What the farmer really wants is the wheat, not the weeds, even though the wheat appears to be weak and small. Come to the Church of God which leads us to salvation. God bless you.

Commands of God and Rules of Men

Today we will share God's grace, studying 'Commands of God and Rules of Men'. God sends the prophets to His people who proclaim to them God's commands. God's people must obey them to be saved.
Jer 7:25 Day after day, again and again I sent you my servants the prophets.

At the last day God will punish those who do not keep His law.
Mt 7:21-23 Away from me, you who practice lawlessness (NKJV)
cf.) Lawlessness means 'not to observe God's law.'
What will happen to those who practice lawlessness on the last day? Jesus clearly shows us how their lives will end on the last day.
Mt 13:41 They will throw them into the fiery furnace.
They will be thrown into the fiery furnace. Jesus shows us again through the parable of 'the rich man and Lazarus.'
Lk 16:19-29 They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.
The rich man didn't listen to Moses and the prophets during his lifetime. He didn't obey God's commandments, and he was thrown into the fire of Hell after his death. Lazarus, a beggar, went to heaven by keeping God's commandments.
What does God want us to learn from the prophets then? God wants His people to learn and keep God's commandments for salvation.
Eze 18:21 If a wicked man turns away from all the sins he has committed and keeps all my decrees [commands] … he will surely live.
Eze 20:24 Because they had not obeyed my laws but had rejected my decrees and desecrated my Sabbaths … I also gave them over to statues that were not good and laws they could not live by.
God gave them over to Sunday worship, a rule of men, because people disobeyed the Sabbath, God's commandment. People were handed over to Christmas because they chose to ignore God's Passover.
People obey the rules of men, leading them only to worship God in vain.
Mt 15:7-8 They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men.
Isa 29:13 Their worship of me is made up only of rules taught by men.
We must serve God through His commands.
1 Jn 2:3 We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands.
We know God when we obey God's commands. People are only liars when they say they know God without keeping His commands.
The people who don't keep God's commands will never escape the disasters from God. Only those who obey God's commandments will be saved on the last day.
Jer 6:19 I am bringing disaster on this people … because they have not listened to my words and have rejected my law.

The bottom line is that men's rules like Christmas, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Harvest Feasts, and Sunday have no root in the words of God. None of them were established by Christ, nor can we find them in the Bible.
If we keep men's rules, we cannot be saved. No matter how faithfully we may serve God by practicing them, we will never be saved. Let's obey God's commands and receive salvation. God bless you.

The Law of Moses and the Law of Christ

In the Bible, there are two laws: the law of Moses and the law of Christ. The Law of Moses was changed by Jesus into the Law of Christ. Let's confirm this through the Bible.
1 Co 9:20-21 To those under the law (Moses' law) I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law) … To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God's law but am under Christ's law).

The law of Moses started to disappear when the law of Jesus was established.
Heb 8:7, 13 By calling this covenant "new", he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and aging will soon disappear.
The law of Moses (the old covenant) was changed by Jesus into the law of Christ (the new covenant).
Heb 7:12 For when there is a change of the priesthood, there must also be a change of the law.
Jesus came to fulfill Moses' law and to establish Christ's law.
Mt 5:17 Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.
How was the law of Moses changed into the law of Christ? Let's study this step by step through the Bible.

God's people are not to keep the law of Moses after Christ Jesus. They must obey the law of Christ until the last day. In the last days the dragon, Satan, will make war against God's people who keep God's commandments, the law of Christ.
Rev 12:17 Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to make war against the rest of her offsprings―those who obey God's commandments and hold to the testimony of Jesus.
Satan will tempt us in every way so we don't observe the law of Christ in the last days. It will require our patient endurance to obey God's commandments.
Rev 14:12 This calls for patient endurance on the part of the saints who obey God's commandments and remain faithful to Jesus.
In these last days people who are against the law of Christ will find themselves standing on the side of the dragon.

Those who do not keep God's commandments will be called "arrogant and cursed". They will never receive salvation from God.
Ps 119:21 You rebuke the arrogant, who are cursed and who stray from your commands.
Let's keep the law of Christ and enter the kingdom of God. God bless you.

What Is Gospel?

The gospel of Jesus is essential for us sinners, who are destined to die because of our sins. It is the Good News that gives us the forgiveness of sins. Jesus preached the gospel when He came to the earth.
Mt 4:23 Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom.

Jesus calls us and blesses us to be His gospel workers. What promise does He give us through the gospel? Let's confirm the promise through the Bible.
Eph 3:4-6 Through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus.
Through the gospel, we become God's heirs to reign in the kingdom and members together of one body in Christ Jesus.
We are God's ministers and God entrusts us with proclaiming the gospel.
1 Th 2:4 We speak as men approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel.
Ro 15:16 To be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles with the priestly duty of proclaiming the gospel of God.
Now let's confirm what the gospel is through the Bible.
Col 1:23 This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.
The Apostle Paul claimed that he became a servant of 'the gospel'.
2 Co 3:6 He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant.
Here Paul called himself a minister of 'a new covenant.' Obviously the gospel is the new covenant.
What is the new covenant that gospel workers must preach to the world?
Lk 22:15, 20 I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer … This cup is the new covenant in my blood.
The Passover is the gospel of the new covenant that we should preach to the whole world.
Nowadays, most comtemporary churches claim that they preach the gospel without even keeping the Passover. They even insist that the Passover is a heresy. What will happen to those people on the last day?
2 Th 1:7-9 He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.
God will punish all people who do not obey the gospel, the Passover of the new covenant.
What is going to happen to those who preach a different gospel?
Gal 1:6-9 Even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned!
They will be eternally condemned by God.
Gospel workers must preach the Passover of the new covenant. The churches without the Passover have no gospel at all.

In these last days it is only the Church of God that preaches the gospel of the new covenant Passover. The Church of God faces all kinds of persecution from the world, but the Church of God will never fall.
Ac 5:39 If it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God.
Nobody can stop the Church of God. People will only find themselves fighting against God when they speak against the Church of God. Come to the Church of God and receive salvation. God bless you.

Moses and Jesus (the Meaning of the Cross)

According to the Bible, Moses is a prophetical figure for Jesus. What happened in the time of Moses is a shadow of things to occur in the time of Jesus and in these last days. Today we will study the meaning of the cross through the work of Moses and that of Jesus.

Dt 18:17-18 I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers.
God said that He would raise up a prophet like Moses. This prophecy was fulfilled by Jesus Christ.
Ac 3:22-24 The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your own people; … all the prophets from Samuel on, as many as have spoken, have foretold these days.
Ex 17:8-11 As long as Moses held up his hands, the Israelites were winning.
When Moses held up his hands, the Israelites were delivered by God. Let's find out how this prophecy was accomplished.
Jn 12:32 I, When I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to myself.
When Jesus was lifted up from the earth, people were saved. We can see that Moses represents Jesus.
The idolatry of Israelites in the time of Moses is a copy of idolatry of the spiritual Israelites in the time of Jesus. Just as the natural Israelites worshipped a bronze snake, so the spiritual Israelites worship the cross today.
Nu 21:8 Make a snake and put it up on a pole; anyone who is bitten can look at it and live.
How were the Israelites saved when they spoke against God and were bitten to death by snakes? Was it because of a bronze snake or God's mighty word? What would have happened to those who looked at the bronze snake with no words from God? Do you think they could have been saved? (No) However, the Israelites, ignorant of God's word, had worshipped the bronze snake from then to king Hezekiah.
2 Ki 18:4-6 He [King Hezekiah] broke into pieces the bronze snake Moses had made, for up to that time the Israelites had been burning incense to it … he kept the commands the LORD had given Moses.
The Israelites had worshipped the bronze snake for about 1,000 years as a holy symbol of God's salvation. Actually what was it before God? (idol)
In the same way many contemporary Christians, ignorant of God's word, worship the cross. It is another kind of idol like the bronze snake.
Jn 3:14-15 Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.
People could be saved only when they believe firmly in Jesus, not a cross. The Cross is a kind of execution tool used for crucifying Jesus. It is Jesus' precious blood that can save us, not a cross itself. Let's find out.
Jn 19:34 One of the soldiers pierced Jesus' side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and water.
Eph 1:7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins.
1 Pe 1:18-19 You were redeemed … with the precious blood of Christ.

As the Israelites were saved by the almighty word of God, not by the bronze snake, we are redeemed with Jesus' precious blood, not the cross.
The Bible says if a man carves an image and sets it up in secret, he will be cursed. We must not worship the cross, because it's a wooden idol (Jer 10:1-; Dt 27:15). God bless you.

Jan 24, 2010

Cross-Reverence Is Idolatry

Today we will study that a cross is a wooden idol. It is nothing but idolatry before God to worship or wear the cross.
Ex 20:4-5 You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them.
Today many people think the cross is only a symbol of the Crucifixion, not an idol. However, we have to judge everything by God's words, not our thoughts. God wants His people not to make idols of any kind and not to worship them. Let's find out through the Bible if it's okay before God to believe the cross as a symbol of Jesus' sacrifice.

Lev 26:1 Do not make idols or set up an image or a sacred stone for yourselves, and do not place a carved stone in your land to bow down before it.
God doesn't want us to make any idols to worship. Now let's find out what the cross is in the sight of God.
Jer 10:2-10 Do not learn the ways of the nations … Like a scarecrow in a melon patch, their idols cannot speak; … they are taught by worthless wooden idols.
What can you learn from this verse? The cross is one of the wooden idols from the nations worshipping other gods. It is only a worthless idol. What is going to happen to those who dare to make and bow down to it? Let's find out.
Dt 27:15 Cursed is the man who carves an image or casts an idol―a thing detestable to the LORD.
The cross is a detestable idol before God. Those who make and worship the cross will be cursed.
Jer 2:27 They say to wood, 'You are my father,' and to stone, 'You gave me birth.' They have turned their backs to me and not their faces.
As the Bible goes, some people call their Father before a wooden idol, a cross; others say "You gave me birth" before a stone idol, the Virgin Mary. What's going to happen to these churches that revere the cross? Do you think they can be saved?
In the time of Moses, the Israelites worshipped the bronze snake in the desert. It is a copy and shadow of the things to happen in the time of the New Testament. Just as the Israelites revered the bronze snake, so today people worship the cross as a symbol of Christ Jesus.
Nu 21:4-9 Make a snake and put it up on a pole; anyone who is bitten can look at it and live.
2 Ki 18:3-6 He broke into pieces the bronze snake Moses had made, for up to that time the Israelites had been burning incense to it. … he kept the commands the LORD had given Moses.
People can be saved only when they have firm belief in Jesus, not a cross. If the Israelites had used a hammer, would you worship or wear a hammer? They used a cross to kill your spiritual Father. How then can you worship it? The cross is a kind of execution tool used for crucifying Jesus. It is a symbol of murder, not love from Jesus. It is nothing but idolatry when someone puts great holy value on it and worships it.

The cross is an idol. Whoever erects or worships it will be cursed. God bless you.

Revelation (Chapter 17), Revelation (Chapter 18)

Revelation (Chapter 17)

Today we will again confirm the identity of the Roman Catholic Church through Jesus' Revelation to the Apostle John.
Rev 17:1 Come, I will show you the punishment of the great prostitute, who sits on many waters.
In the Bible, woman stands for church (1 Pe 5:13), and waters represent peoples, multitudes, nations and languages (Rev 17:15). Therefore the prostitute is adulterous woman, false church, which unites itself with this sinful world. Let's study more about this great prostitute.
Rev 17:3 I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was covered with blasphemous names and had seven heads and ten horns.
In his prophecy, Daniel already showed this ten-horned beast as Rome. This verse tells us that the great prostitute, the Roman Catholic Church, originated in Rome.
Rev 17:4-5 The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and was glittering with gold, precious stones and pearls. She held a golden cup in her hand … MYSTERY BABYLON THE GREAT THE MOTHER OF PROSTITUTES AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
Here 'to be dressed in purple and scarlet' indicates the colors and garments that the Catholic priests and bishops wear during services. 'To be glittering with gold, precious stones and pearls' tells us what the Vatican is decorated with inside. Moreover, only the Roman Catholic Church uses a golden cup during services throughout the whole world.

Revelation (Chapter 18)

Rev 18:2 Fallen is Babylon the Great! She has become a home for demons and a haunt for every evil spirit, a haunt for every unclean and detestable bird.
Here 'Babylon' is the Roman Catholic Church and her daughters, all the Protestant churches. They were given authority from Satan. Babylon will surely be destroyed by God at the last day. Before the last day arrives, God wants His people to leave Babylon as quickly as possible.
Rev 18:4 Come out of her, my people, so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues.
God wants His people to leave Babylon and come to Zion where salvation is promised. God bless you.

Revelation (Chapter 13)

Daniel's prophecy shows us the reality of the Roman Catholic Church. In the book of Revelation, God again lets us know major characteristics of the Roman Catholic Church so that we can recognize its true identity.
Rev 13:1 He had ten horns … The beast I saw resembled a leopard, but had feet like those of a bear and a mouth like that of a lion. The dragon gave the beast his power and his throne and great authority.
Ten horns let us know that the Roman Catholic Church originated in Rome.
① Lion stands for Babylon and its idolatry; the Roman Catholics have idolatrous doctrines of worshipping the Virgin Mary and the saints' remains.
② Leopard represents Greece and its philosophy; the Roman Catholics introduced Greek philosophy and had its doctrines based on them.
③ Bear stands for Media and Persia and their cruelty; the Roman Catholic Church killed so many people cruelly during the Dark Ages. They also worshiped the sun-god like Media and Persia.
④ Dragon has given authority to the beast; the dragon is Satan (Rev 12:9). The Bible clearly shows that the Roman Catholic Church has received the authority from Satan.
Rev 13:16-18 The name of the beast or the number of his name … If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is man's number. His number is 666.
The Pope's tiara has Latin words on it, 'VICARIUS FILIIDEI.' It means "the Representative of the Son of God." Each Roman letter has its own number. These Latin words could be calculated as numbers as follows;
V I C A R I U S F I L I I D E I
5 1 100 1 5 1 50 1 1 500 1 = 666

The Bible Is a Book of Prophecy

The Bible is a book of prophecy. All the prophesies in the Bible have been fulfilled 100 percent to date. Surely the remaining prophecies will be achieved just as all the past prophecies were accomplished.

The prophecies of the Bible serve for God's people as a light shining in a dark place.
2 Pe 1:19 We have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place.
We must believe all the prophecies in the Bible will be fulfilled, not adding or taking away.
Rev 22:18-19 If anyone adds anything to them … And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy.
Now let's study the prophecies and see if they were fulfilled by God. First, why don't we start with the prophecies in the Old Testament?
Ge 18:8-14 Sarah your wife will have a son. (Ge 21:2)
Ge 25:21-23 The older will serve the younger. (Ge 27:29)
Nu 14:30 Not one of you will enter the land (Canaan) … except Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun. (Nu 26:65)
Isa 45:1 This is what the LORD says to his anointed, to Cyrus. (Ezr 1:1, 170 years later)
Let's move on to the prophecies about Jesus and their fulfillment in the New Testament.
Isa 7:14 The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son. (Mt 1:23)
Mic 5:2 Bethlehem Ephrathah … out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel. (Mt 2:6)
Isa 9:1 In the past he humbled the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali but in the future he will honor Galilee of the Gentiles, by the way of the sea, along the Jordan. (Mt 4:15)
Zec 9:9 Your king comes to you, … riding on a donkey. (Mt 21:5)
* cf.) Daniel 2, 7, 8
All the prophecies in the past were fulfilled 100 percent. What about the remaining prophecies for the future? They will surely be achieved just like all the past prophecies.
Now let's study the prophecies that will be accomplished today, in these last days.
Rev 14:1, 12 There before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 … who obey God's commandments.
Jer 4:5-6 Let us flee to the fortified cities! … Raise the signal to go to Zion!
Mic 4:1-2 In the last days … The law will go out from Zion.
Do you really believe God's prophecies of Zion and the 144,000? Are you absolutely sure they will be fulfilled without fail in the last days?
Once you firmly believe God's prophecies about the last days, you should come to Zion for your salvation where the 144,000 stand with God.

You should not treat prophecies with contempt according to your own judgment or religious traditions.
1 Th 5:20 Do not treat prophecies with contempt.
Come to Zion and you will receive salvation from God in these last days. God bless you.

The Church Bought With the Blood

Today there are so many churches around us. How can you find the true church among them that follows the teachings of Jesus? According to the Bible, God bought His church with His own blood.
Ac 20:28 Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood.
Let's study about this church more in detail.
•Main subject
First, let's find out what the name of the church is.
1 Co 1:2 To the church of God in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus.
Gal 1:13 How intensely I persecuted the church of God.
1 Co 11:22 Do you despise the church of God?
In the Bible, the Apostle Paul called it 'the church of God.' God bought the church of God with His own blood. What does the blood mean here?
Ac 20:28 The church of God, which he bought with his own blood.
Ex 34:25, NKJV You shall not offer the blood of My sacrifice with leaven, nor shall the sacrifice of the Feast of the Passover.
Jehovah called the Passover sacrifice 'His sacrifice.' He also mentioned the blood of the Passover as His blood.
Mt 26:26-28 This [the wine of the Passover] is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
Jesus also said the blood of the Passover is His blood. It means the church of God was bought with the Passover blood.
Let's find out why God bought the church of God with the Passover blood.
Eph 1:7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins.
The goal of our faith is the forgiveness of sins. It is given to us only through the Passover blood. That's why the church of God is bought with the Passover blood.
By keeping the Passover, we can also participate in Christ's body and blood.
1 Co 10:16 Is not the cup of thanksgiving for which we give thanks a participation in the blood of Christ?
Lk 22:20 This cup is the new covenant in my blood.
Jesus called the Passover 'the new covenant.' The Church of God celebrates the Passover of the new covenant by the bread and wine. This is the true church we should seek in these last days.
•Conclusion
We can do nothing when we leave the church of God.
Jn 15:5 Apart from me you can do nothing.
The Church of God was founded with the Passover from God. It will never fall, though it faces all kinds of slander and hardships.
Ac 5:39 If it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God.
Come to the Church of God and receive God's blessing of the forgiveness of your sin. God bless you.

The Work of God's Putting His Seal

In the near future the great disaster is to come upon the whole world. How can we escape such a great disaster then? The Bible warns us that we must have God's seal to stay safe from the last plague.

First, let's find out when God begins to put a seal on His elect.
Rev 7:1 After this [the World War II, Rev 6:12] I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth to prevent any wind from blowing on the land or on the sea or on any tree.
God will start putting a seal after the World War Two and finish it before the four winds of the earth blow on the whole world.
Where does God's work of putting a seal start?
Rev 7:2 I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal of the living God.
God will begin to put a seal on His elect from the east.
What is the seal of God? Let's find out through the Bible.
Jn 6:27 On him [Jesus] God the Father has placed his seal of approval.
God has put His seal on Jesus. Therefore, Jesus is God's seal itself. Now let's find out how we can have God's seal through Jesus.
Jn 6:56 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me [Jesus], and I in him.
Jesus, God's seal, will stay inside us once we have His flesh and blood. We can survive the last plague at the Judgment day. How can we have Jesus' flesh and blood, God's seal?
Mt 26:17-28 Take and eat; this is my body … Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant.
We can have God's seal, Jesus' flesh and blood, by keeping the Passover. Only the Passover, God's seal, can save us from the great disaster on the last day.
Let's confirm that we will need God's seal on the last day through the Exodus in the time of Moses.
Ex 12:1-13 When I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you.
In the time of Moses, the Israelites were saved from the destructive plague when they kept the Passover. It serves as a shadow, letting us know that no destructive plague will touch us at the last day when we keep the Passover. Now let's find a couple of examples that the Israelites got saved from the destructive plague by celebrating the Passover.
2 Ch 30:1 Hezekiah sent word to all Israel … celebrate the Passover to the LORD.
:10 The people scorned and ridiculed them.
In the time of King Hezekiah, Israel didn't keep the Passover and Judah celebrated the Passover. Let's find out what happened to Israel and then Judah.
2 Ki 18:9-10 Samaria was captured (by the Assyrians) in Hezekiah's sixth year.
Israel was totally destroyed because it did not keep the Passover.
2 Ki 19:30-35 The angel of the LORD went out and put to death a hundred and eighty-five thousand men in the Assyrian camp.
On the contrary, nothing happened to Judah from the Assyrian attack with God's protection because they had celebrated the Passover, God's seal.
These two different cases were written to teach us how important the Passover is for our salvation at the last day.
Ro 15:4 Everything that was written in the past was written to teach us.

The Israelites escaped the ten plagues in Egypt by keeping the Passover. In the time of King Hezekiah, God protected only Judah which celebrated the Passover. These examples show us that the Passover is surely God's seal. Only the Passover will save us from the coming disaster at the last day. Keep the Passover, and you will have God's seal and be saved. God bless you.

You Shall Have No Other Gods Before Me

Today we will study how we can worship no other gods before God.

First of all, let's find out what the greatest commandment is before God.
Mt 22:35-38 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.
Let's find out through the Bible how this greatest commandment was fulfilled. Please turn to 2 Ki 23:21.
2 Ki 23:21-25 The king gave this order to all the people: "Celebrate the Passover to the LORD your God …" Neither before nor after Josiah was there a king like him who turned to the LORD as he did―with all his heart and with all his soul and with all his strength.
King Josiah was said to love God with "all his heart and with all his soul and with all his strength" after he celebrated the Passover.
The Passover is the way to keep the first and greatest commandment of God. Let's double-check this through another verses.
Dt 6:4-8 Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. … Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.
As Jesus said, this is the first and greatest commandment. God wants us to keep it on our foreheads. Now let's find out what we should do to obey this commandment.
Ex 13:3-9 Commemorate this day, the day you came out of Egypt (Passover day) … This observance will be for you like a sign on your hand and a reminder on your forehead.
God says that the Passover is a reminder on our forehead. Here again we can understand the first commandment can be observed by celebrating the Passover.
Secondly, let's find out how we can serve only God by keeping the Passover.
Ex 20:3 You shall have no other gods before me. (The 1st commandment)
Ex 12:11-12 It is the LORD's Passover … on that same night … I will bring judgement on all the gods of Egypt.
We have to celebrate the Passover to serve only God. It is because all the other gods are destroyed once we keep the Passover.
Finally, let's find out some examples of God's destroying all the other gods through the Passover.
2 Ki 23:3-4, 21-24 Josiah got rid of the mediums and spiritists, the household gods, the idols and all the other detestable things seen in Judah and Jerusalem.
2 Ch 30:1, 31:1 the Israelites who were there went out to the towns of Judah, smashed the sacred stones and cut down the Asherah poles. They destroyed the high places and the altars throughout Judah.
These two cases clearly show that we can observe the first commandment only through the Passover.
False prophets always try to keep God's people from celebrating the Passover. They always try to abolish the Passover.
Dt 13:1-5 He has tried to turn you from the way the LORD your God commanded you to follow. You must purge the evil from among you.
The Bible says that all the people in the world will be destroyed at the last day because they do not keep the Passover, the everlasting covenant.
Isa 24:1-5 They have disobeyed the laws, violated the statues and broken the everlasting covenant.

Unless we keep the Passover, we will never know if we worship God or other gods. We must keep the Passover so that we can worship God only. God bless you.

The True Meaning of the Passover

The Passover is the most essential truth for our salvation in these last days. Today we will study the prophecy of the Passover to be fulfilled in these last days. Moses and the Israelites were delivered out of Egypt and entered Canaan after celebrating the Passover three times. This is a copy and shadow to be fulfilled in the time of the New Testament. Let's find out its reality.

Ex 12:1-14 You shall celebrate it as a festival to the LORD―a lasting ordinance.
Moses and all the Israelites were brought out of sinful Egypt after they celebrated the first Passover. This was a copy of the things to happen in the time of Jesus. Let's find out how it was fulfilled.
Lk 22:15 Jesus eagerly wanted to keep the Passover.
Jesus' disciples were delivered out of this sinful world after they kept the Passover with Jesus.
The Israelites celebrated the second Passover in the desert after they came out of Egypt.
Nu 9:1-5 The LORD spoke to Moses in the Desert of Sinai in the first month of the second year after they came out of Egypt … So Moses told the Israelites to celebrate the Passover and they did so.
This was a shadow of the things to occur in the time of the New Testament. Let's find out how it was completed.
1 Co 11:26 Whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes.
Jesus' disciples kept the Passover in the spiritual desert of faith after His Ascension.
The Passover had not been kept by the natural Israelites for a long time, almost forty years. This was a shadow of the reality to take place in the time of the New Testament. The Passover had not been kept by the spiritual Israelites for a long time since the Early Church.

Jos 5:10-12 While camped at Gilgal on the plains of Jericho, the Israelites celebrated the Passover.
For the third time the Israelites celebrated the Passover right before they entered Canaan, the promise land. This is also to be accomplished in the last days right before the spiritual Israelites enter the kingdom of heaven, the promise land.
Isa 25:6-8 On this mountain the LORD Almighty will prepare a feast of rich food for all peoples, a banquet of aged wine … he will swallow up death forever.
This prophecy of the Passover is to take place in the last days. After the Ascension, the Passover had not been kept for a long time, over 1,600 years, during the Dark Ages. However, the spiritual Israelites will celebrate the Passover right before they enter the heavenly Canaan, the eternal home of promise.
In these last days, God's people can enter the kingdom of heaven only by keeping the Passover. God bless you.

The Passover, the Way to Eternal life

According to the Bible, the Passover is the only way to have eternal life. Many people think they don't have to keep it. Which of the two is right before God, to keep the Passover or not? We must remember to judge everything by the Bible, not human standards, religious traditions, or popular opinion.
To make the right decision, we should study who commanded us to keep the Passover. We must observe it if it is God's commandment in the Bible. Also, we must not keep it when it is not in the Bible.

Ex 12:10-14 It is the LORD's Passover. … you shall celebrate it as a festival to the LORD―a lasting ordinance.
Who commanded the Israelites to keep the Passover in the Exodus? (God) The Israelites were blessed and delivered out of Egypt when they celebrated the Passover as God commanded.
Mt 26:19, 28 This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
Who commanded that Jesus' disciples should keep the Passover in the Bible? (Jesus) Jesus' disciples were blessed and delivered out of their sins when they celebrated the Passover as Jesus commanded.
Why did Jesus, God, command us to keep the Passover?
Jn 6:53-54 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life.
Lk 22:20 This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me … This cup is the new covenant in my blood which is poured out for you.
Jesus said that "no one" would have eternal life without eating His flesh and drinking His blood through the Passover. The Passover of the new covenant is "the only way" for us to receive eternal life from God.
Why does God want to give us eternal life through the Passover then? It is because He wants to lead us to His kingdom where there is no death.
Rev 21:4 There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain.
Here we can learn that the Passover is God's truth leading us to heaven, our home of eternal life.
The Passover of Jesus Christ is our Father's gift and outstretched hand bringing us to our eternal home. Before our Father died on the cross, He gave us His most precious gift, eternal life, through the Passover. Take Christ's gift and keep the Passover.
Mt 7:21 Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
As we have studied, it is definitely God's will for us to keep the Passover. Only those who keep the Passover can enter the kingdom of heaven at the last day. God bless you.

Sunday Service Is a Lie

Many Christians claim that Sunday is the Lord's day in the Bible. Today we will find out if the Lord's day is in the Bible, and what day of the week it is if it is in the Bible.

Rev 1:10 On the Lord's Day I was in the Spirit.
They insist that 'the Lord's Day' here is Sunday. Do you have any idea who 'the Lord' is in the Bible? (Jesus Christ) Would you please go to Mt 12:8?
Mt 12:8 For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath.
Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath. So the Lord's day is the Sabbath day, that is Saturday, not Sunday. Consequently, it is a lie that there is Sunday service for Christians because it is not in the Bible. They also insist that the apostles gave their offerings to God on Sunday and it is a true evidence of their keeping Sunday. Let's find out.
1 Co 16:2 On the first day of every week [every Sunday, TEV], each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with his income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will have to be made.
Contrary to their thoughts, this verse obviously shows us that they had to work on Sunday to save up the money for collections. Sunday is not a day to worship God, but to work. Therefore, this is also a lie that Sunday service is in the Bible.
What will happen to those at the last day who lie that the Lord's day is Sunday?
Rev 21:8 Those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars―their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur.
They, liars, will be put into the fiery lake of burning sulfur at the last day.

We learned through the Bible that the Lord's Day is the Sabbath. Sadly, many people still insist that Sunday is the Lord's Day and that they do not have to observe the Sabbath in the Bible. God says that they are all liars to be thrown into the lake of fire on the Judgement day. Let's keep the Sabbath day holy and enter the kingdom of heaven. God bless you.

The Sabbath of Moses and the Sabbath of Christ

The law of the Old Testament was fulfilled by Jesus. The Sabbath of Moses was also accomplished through the Sabbath of Jesus. Today we will study how people celebrate the Sabbath of Moses and the Sabbath of Christ. We will plainly see the difference between the two.
Mt 5:17 I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them [the Law or the Prophets].
Heb 7:12 For when there is a change of the priesthood, there must also be a change of the law.
As Jesus said through these two verses, the law of Moses was fulfilled and changed into the law of Christ.

First, let's study how the Sabbath of Moses was kept. Then we will study how it was fulfilled and changed by Jesus.
In the time of Moses, people must not do any work on the Sabbath day. They were put to death when they did any work on the Sabbath day.
Ex 31:15 Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day must be put to death.
Nu 15:32 A man gathering wood on the Sabbath day was stoned to death.
On the contrary, priests did work on the sabbath day by sacrificing animals to God. They were not put to death. This is the prominent difference between people and priests in keeping the Sabbath day.
Nu 28:9 On the Sabbath day, make an offering of two lambs.
Lev 24:5-8 Take fine flour and bake twelve loaves of bread … Set them in two rows.
There were two different ways they celebrated the Sabbath of Moses. Ordinary people were not allowed to do any work on the Sabbath day while priests must work to worship God on the Sabbath.
2,000 years ago, the Sabbath of Moses was fulfilled and changed into the Sabbath of Christ. Let's find out how the Sabbath of Christ was celebrated.
1 Pe 2:9 You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood.
In the time of Jesus, once people were baptized into Jesus, they were blessed and became the priests of the gospel. They kept the Sabbath in the newly different way. They worshipped God in spirit and truth, no longer sacrificing animals on the Sabbath day.
Jn 4:23-24 The true worshipers worship God in spirit and in truth.
Let's find out how Jesus celebrated the Sabbath day.
Lk 4:16 On the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. And he stood up to read.
Jesus came and showed us an example that we should keep the Sabbath in spirit and truth. We should follow His example until the last day.

Today Satan is deceiving God's people into believing that the Sabbath is insignificant and merely a part of the law of Moses. We should be careful not to fall into his trap. Jesus showed us an example of keeping the Sabbath of Christ. Therefore, we must celebrate the Sabbath day and also lead God’s people to keep it. God bless you.

Sabbath Fulfilled

It is everybody's opinion that the Sabbath of the Old Testament was abolished by the Cross of Jesus. It is true. However, people are not aware of the Sabbath of the New Testament Jesus gave us to celebrate until the last day.
Heb 10:9 He sets aside the first to establish the second.
Jesus came to set aside the law of Moses and to establish the law of Christ.
Mt 5:17 I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.
Jesus came and changed the law of Moses into the law of Christ. Just as the law of Moses has the Sabbath day, so the law of Christ has the Sabbath day fulfilled by Jesus. The difference is in "how" God's children keep the Sabbath holy.

First, let's find out how people kept the Sabbath in the time of Moses.
Nu 28:9-10 On the Sabbath day, make an offering of two lambs.
People served God by sacrificing lambs every Sabbath. Now let's study how people kept the Sabbath in the time of Jesus.
Jn 1:29 Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!
Jesus is the reality of the lambs sacrificed every Sabbath. Since Jesus, the Lamb, was once sacrificed on the cross, there was no need for sacrificing lambs any more. After the Sabbath of the New Testament was established by Jesus, the Sabbath of the Old Testament started to disappear. Let's find out how Jesus kept the Sabbath.
Lk 4:16 On the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. And he stood up to read.
Jesus kept the Sabbath. His apostles also kept the Sabbath. However, today many Sunday worshippers allege that Jesus' disciples kept Sunday after the Crucifixion. Let's find out if it is true.
Lk 23:52-56 But they rested on the Sabbath in obedience to the commandment.
Ac 16:11-13 On the Sabbath … where we expected to find a place of prayer.
Right after the Crucifixion, Jesus' followers still celebrated the Sabbath in obedience to His commandment. Long after Jesus' Ascension, the Apostle Paul still kept the Sabbath as his custom. Now can you understand Jesus' disciples kept the Sabbath before and even after the Crucifixion? The Sabbath day was the custom of Jesus and His disciples.

As we have studied, the Sabbath of the law of Moses was fulfilled by Jesus through the Sabbath of the law of Jesus. We should celebrate it until the last day.
Mt 24:20 Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath.
Mt 7:21-23 Away from me, you evildoers (you who practice lawlessness, NKJV).
Those who do not keep the Sabbath, God's law, are evildoers in God's eyes who will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Let's keep the Sabbath of the New Testament and enter the kingdom of heaven. God bless you.
