The Bible is a book of prophecy. All the prophesies in the Bible have been fulfilled 100 percent to date. Surely the remaining prophecies will be achieved just as all the past prophecies were accomplished.
The prophecies of the Bible serve for God's people as a light shining in a dark place.
2 Pe 1:19 We have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place.
We must believe all the prophecies in the Bible will be fulfilled, not adding or taking away.
Rev 22:18-19 If anyone adds anything to them … And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy.
Now let's study the prophecies and see if they were fulfilled by God. First, why don't we start with the prophecies in the Old Testament?
Ge 18:8-14 Sarah your wife will have a son. (Ge 21:2)
Ge 25:21-23 The older will serve the younger. (Ge 27:29)
Nu 14:30 Not one of you will enter the land (Canaan) … except Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun. (Nu 26:65)
Isa 45:1 This is what the LORD says to his anointed, to Cyrus. (Ezr 1:1, 170 years later)
Let's move on to the prophecies about Jesus and their fulfillment in the New Testament.
Isa 7:14 The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son. (Mt 1:23)
Mic 5:2 Bethlehem Ephrathah … out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel. (Mt 2:6)
Isa 9:1 In the past he humbled the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali but in the future he will honor Galilee of the Gentiles, by the way of the sea, along the Jordan. (Mt 4:15)
Zec 9:9 Your king comes to you, … riding on a donkey. (Mt 21:5)
* cf.) Daniel 2, 7, 8
All the prophecies in the past were fulfilled 100 percent. What about the remaining prophecies for the future? They will surely be achieved just like all the past prophecies.
Now let's study the prophecies that will be accomplished today, in these last days.
Rev 14:1, 12 There before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 … who obey God's commandments.
Jer 4:5-6 Let us flee to the fortified cities! … Raise the signal to go to Zion!
Mic 4:1-2 In the last days … The law will go out from Zion.
Do you really believe God's prophecies of Zion and the 144,000? Are you absolutely sure they will be fulfilled without fail in the last days?
Once you firmly believe God's prophecies about the last days, you should come to Zion for your salvation where the 144,000 stand with God.
You should not treat prophecies with contempt according to your own judgment or religious traditions.
1 Th 5:20 Do not treat prophecies with contempt.
Come to Zion and you will receive salvation from God in these last days. God bless you.
Amen.
